Well, Dragon Ball did prove that the lives of all the humans are ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things when it came to stopping an universal threat, so it's okay to sacrifice all the humans if it buys you like five seconds for a pair of half human half alien hybrids to train themselves up so they can actually fight that universal threat.
@Hamburger Time
Well muscled men frequently getting their clothes torn off, getting covered in sweat and grappling with each other?
I can see why the predominantly female userbase of tumblr would like Dragon Ball...

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariAgain, all those things are appropriate given what happens in Dragon Ball.
Especially the nature of the afterlife. Am I the only one who thinks HFIL was actually a hilariously good call? I mean, they had to Bowdlerize it, and I'm glad they did it in a funny way.
But they bought enough time for the other half human half alien hybrid to arrive, who, in turn, bought enough time for Goku to finally get off his ass and solve the problem himself like he should have in the first place.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariA discussion about the afterlife can very easily veer into religion, which is a topic people get incredibly sensitive about, so I can see why it'd get super personal.
But I don't recall that, I seem to recall people just moving on. Might be another conversation I'm remembering.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI seem to recall someone feeling like we were literally holding a gun to their head but that might have been a different conversation.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!A lot of things happen in Dragon Ball that we can easily use as metaphors for real world things.
Hell, we could make a very interesting discussion about whether Freeza did a good thing or not when he wiped out the Saiyans, considering they're a race of violent lunatics.
Dragon Ball is not a series void of moral ambiguity... mostly because it stars an incredibly selfish guy who once got the planet destroyed because he thought it was a good idea to make his son and said son's best friend fight an eldritch abomination from outer space.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariYeah, he was really upset that everyone wasn't constantly trying to kill Beerus.
My various fanfics.Killing Beerus is really hard.
Especially if you don't know about the connection to the Supreme Kai, who should be pretty hard to kill himself unless you're either Majin Buu or the saiyans.
One Strip! One Strip! This is a bit late, but...
From the way divine time travel has been described (that is, it's more "normal" time travel without creating alts: his future and the heroes' are tied together by causality), it's likely Black! Zamasu is actually from the heroes' timeline, and the Goku he switched bodies with is our Goku - the one we've been following. This actually makes Future Zamasu the oddity - it stands to reason that he's thus the Zamasu from Trunks' timeline, but if so why does he seem to be in charge? We can assume Black is the one that indoctrinated him to his beliefs but why does he hate Goku in particular, why does he act normal (well, normal for Zamasu) while Black is such a nutbar who barely cares about the plan? Etc. I have theories about it, but it's still stuff I want to see explained outright. Also, how and why the hell Black/Zamasu went to Trunks' timeline in the first place.
If Future Trunks' reasoning is to be believed note , the reason Black! Goku and/or Future Zamasu haven't disappeared yet is because as long as they're in another timeline, they're not beholden to the events and causality of the timeline that they're actually from.

When it comes to Black I think that He is Zamasu from what I am going to call the Omniverse Tournament timeline. The timeline in which Trunks never came back in time and everyone just prepared for the omniverse tournament. Once the tournament happened Zamasu saw Goku with God Ki and pretty much went nuts and proceeded to wish for goku's body and then became Black and then goes on to search for a timeline with no god of destruction and goes to Trunks' timeline.
Also something else that has begun to bother me but did anybody else find it interesting that when Black was talking he says "with the first wish I made to the Super Dragon Balls" does that imply that Black also wished for something else after getting Gokus' body?

...trust me, you couldn't be more wrong Rob.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!
