I still think that the main reason why so many people hated GT was because it started off on the wrongest foot it could.
Really, how could GT ever be anything but a massive failure in the USA with its intro?
Whose idea was this!?
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariHonestly, kind of just remembered it happening like that, my bad.
Again, I'm the guy who watched GT in the original Japanese...when I was like 10-12...when I couldn't understand anything that was being said. That's how much I love this franchise.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!GT's Rap was awesome though, no disrespect...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah, they started it on M2, which is where the more Z like plotting starts.
I remember seeing that as a kid, as well as them releasing the "lost" episodes later. I think they actually did the transition fairly well, with a cold open and Pan flashing back to a cliff notes version of what happened before.
I don't like that kind of meddling but they may have made the right decision, the transition from Z is less jarring that way and the first arc of GT has a really confusing tone. They really didn't seem to know much they wanted to go back to DB until they settled on just continuing the Z style.

Not Pan, Kakarrot flashes back...
GT was very popular in South America and indeed beloved like the rest of the series. Anime in general is very popular in South America, which makes it weird that the major networks that show animated shows have refused to show Anime for so long. Cartoon Network was the most baffling with its handling of its big name anime, but then again, Cartoon Network is the network that got rid of cartoons at one point...
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari... But yeah, Toyble is probably the luckiest DB fan out there.
Also, how 'bout them Dragon Ball Fusions?
EDIT: The new villain of Super DBH has a name...

Mechikabura, Towa and Dabura's grandfather.
Also, Towa's got her new form.

Fair enough. I think it's easy to overlook if used in small doses (weaker characters landing a few good blows when fighting stronger opponents, for example), and Super has been employing it much better than in the past, but when it's used badly, it's pretty jarring (case in point, the films. Android 13 is an obvious example, but the Bojack film has the worst use of the "holding back for no reason" stuff)
It's just that it's a common complaint I often see, but I think it's a minor thing, most of the time. For example, a lot of people say GT sucked because power levels are inconsistent... but inconsistent power levels is the least of GT's flaws.
A'ight, so the plot of the latest Super DBH chapter is Towa and Mira using collected energy and the dragon balls to revive Mechikabura, which they do. Unfortunately, he's in an elder state, so he wants them to find the dragon balls again to pull a King Piccolo on himself. In the meanwhile, Mechikabura gives Towa special demon god powers similar to Demigra, which makes her Demon Goddess Towa.
Did y'all expect this or is this a twist?

Looks like this episode we're getting a heaping of Multiverse Theory rubbing it in Beerus' face, though because of the leaked episode titles, we're not getting clear answers about just HOW Black came about until maybe another week.
Remember kids, Temporal Universes (like the timeline Trunks comes from) are different from Spatial Universes (places one can just visit directly, like U7 and U6)! It's easy to confuse things, and it looks like gods like Beerus aren't too different in that regard!
I mean, nothing in this franchise really has that much consistency; even OG Dragon Ball had that whole thing about the Dragon Balls being usable again after 8 months after the first use of them when Goku went looking for them after his first tournament.

You have an interesting definition of moving on. Generally, most people wouldn't define it as "trying to get the last word in".
And my wall-o-text is mostly related to another conversation. Besides, I don't see why you would fault someone for trying to adequately explain themselves, even if your modus operandi is to sling shit without backing it up.
