There have been things I liked in Super, and things I didn't like. The mystery of Black (something Toriyama has never really done before) is one of them, alongside the U6/U7 tournament (which is still possibly going to lead to a tournament among all the universes sooner or later).
I agree with all of this.
Except this last part. You stink just as bad as everyone else. You just don't know it.
You may be right. So yeah. Fusions sounds cool. Lets fuse all the things.

One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, but now you can do that like....thousands of times over.
That's a lot of head-swapping.
One Strip! One Strip! That is a terrible measure for things.
For starters, people tend to seek those things out if they already enjoy them. The same thing for "liking" videos. People bothering to dislike videos isn't very common except in cases where people actively go out of their way to find the videos and dislike them, which do not represent the majority of people who dislike a work.
That tends only to happen to things that are memetically popular to hate.
I really can't tell if you're being serious with that one

The only other metric I could cite is that the majority of comments related to Super seem to be praising it. I look around, and I see MUCH less Super hate than Super love, whether it be comments, videos, or off-hand mentions. It seems, to me, like more than half the fanbase likes it, AKA: the majority.
The reason that's the only thing you have to base it off is because there is not nearly comprehensive data out there to draw such a conclusion either way.
Not to mention, confirmation bias is a thing. It's no surprise you found the conclusion that supports your own views.
But ultimately, I wouldn't be bothered if literally every other fan agreed with you. Argumentum ad Populum.
It's not less stupid enough.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The majority of the world used to think the Earth is flat...
And then some quack said it was round and now everyone is being retarded and thinking he was right.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."I've been enjoying Super after they stopped recapping the films. The tournament arc was mostly good note , while the Black/Zamasu arc has been doing plenty of stuff not really seen in DB before and has been executing it wellnote . The filler episodes have been surprisingly enjoyable as well.
On another note, DB Super already debuted in Portugal, dubbed by the same actors as in the 90s (most of them, anyway). I think we're what, the first or second country to air it outside of Japan? And it's all thanks to a vocal fanbase. Pretty neat.

Like I said before, Super has done stuff I've liked, and stuff I didn't.
Buu not fighting, and Piccolo being railroaded so Vegeta can get his satisfaction were disappointing (hell, why did Goku even need to go first? Why not just have Piccolo fight Frost from the start so we can get some fights besides Goku and Vegeta? It kind makes it seem like having three other members was more a formality in the end), along with the mistake of making Frost just like Frieza (in the anime at least, as I understand he apparently wasn't evil in the manga, even if he was still a cheater) was a massive waste since we'd just had the actual evil Frieza one arc earlier.
And in the Black arc, I've made my feelings about Trunks and Mai very, VERY clear (she's a fucking adult! Don't try and pretend otherwise!), but have been enjoying Black, Zamasu and the mystery behind them so much that I can ignore that. Hell, when not bound by the bullshit pairing with Trunks, Mai is pretty cool too.
The remade arcs I didn't much care for. I'm not gonna get into the thing with Goku being shot. Too much trouble, and I realized that I don't actually care that much, so trying to defend it (which I've made the mistake of doing) is....pretty dumb truthfully.
As for whether Super is good or not......I'm gonna say it has good ideas, and good moments like Goku vs Hit, but it's likely gonna be a split on whether it was worth it or not.
One Strip! One Strip! Now that is a beat we can all dance to.
Out of everyone I freaking love Jotaro I mean Hit. That's not even a knock because having a timestop you can spam while stuffing your hands into your pockets just oozes badassery. I liked the anime's version of Hit actually getting stronger on his own mid-battle, seemed like a neat gimmick, but even without that he's still a cool character. And like Beerus before him he's an antagonist, but not a villain. His only goal in the tournament was to get Vados's Magic Space Cube.
...which also makes me realize that the strongest enemies Goku and Vegeta face in Super seem to have a purple theme going on.
- Beerus
- Hit.
- Freeza's skin becomes inverted with the purple covering his chin.
- Goo-Vegeta.
- Zamasu.
- Black's Ki Blade is purple and the inside of his aura is purple. Zamasu's blade is purple as well.
Purple is supposed to be a relaxing color.

Last jabs aside, in all seriousness though we should probably move to another topic.
Like Dragonball Fusions. I mean it's kind of insane that you can fuse anybody with anybody. Name how many other games let you do that that aren't cheeky mobile titles.
