But they aren't supposed to keep up.
They point was made a long time ago.
And even if they did take it, they'd still be totally outmatched by whatever comes next.
Why start caring now? What's the point? Though I suppose it would at least make sense in universe.
One Strip! One Strip!I don't think Krillin needs it. He already got all his hidden power unleashed...didn't he?
I mean, it worked differently for him and Gohan, in that the latter proved to still have a lot of power left in the pipe that was unlocked later on, but still, Krillin should be pretty good...
And how do we know they didn't already drink the water way back when? Krillin, Chiaotzu, Tien / Tenshihan, and Yamcha all trained with Corrin at one point, so it's possible they got the option to try.
...Mega Krillin is pretty awesome.
Can't do it.
The dragon can't grant a wish that exceeds the power of it's creator.
One Strip! One Strip!Oh right.
Super Dragonballs. Probably can grant that wish.
Never mind. Carry on.
One Strip! One Strip!I was expecting a higher set of gods. Whis is too cavalier. As I mentioned when we discussed the issue of subservience before, he seems like Beerus's caretaker. The existence of Vados and Champa in U6 creates the impression that Whis and Vados are performing a role; that it's their job to train and look after the God of Destruction, and that every universe probably has a Whis/Vados taking care of their Beerus/Champa.
And if it's their job, that means they must report to someone. The chain of command must have some form of leadership.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Just because Kami has enough power to bring someone back from the dead does not mean that he can actually do it.
It's not that the Dragons can't do anything that their creator can't, it's that they can't do things that exceed that creator's power. Hence why they're unable to affect beings beyond the powerlevel of their creator without those beings' consent. If Kami could do mass revivals himself, they wouldn't use the Dragon Balls at all.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari![]()
Don't ask me.
That's just a rule about the balls.
I mean, that is a rule right? or am I confusing it with the can't affect anyone more powerful than itself rule, which at this point in the series, is pretty much every one.

'ed by a better explanation.

One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, when Old Kaioshin gave his life to Goku all that changed was that one got a halo and the other lost it.
Hell, Goku can freely teleoprt between the living world and after life. There was never anything stopping him from just teleporting back on Earth. Except in the afterlife he could train all the time and Chichi wasn't nagging him.

People have been suggestion that the Superhuman Water that's appearing in a future episode might be the key to other characters keeping up.
