I just had hope ya know, that at least someone else could carry their weight, but I guess that was kind of foolish lol. Oh well, I'll know better next time.
Oh completely, only reason they even stood a chance were due to gimmicks; once that was figured out, they went down pretty quickly. Let's be fair though, Goku & Vegeta are gods at this point, it'd be kinda weird if there were other characters suddenly on their level

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. The difference is those guys at least had some concrete reasons for strength; Cell has parts of Frieza in him, as well as some of other strongest fighters and Buu is magical genie of death.
Nobody in U6 really seems that remarkable aside from a gimmick like I pointed out.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Go Dammit Toriyama! Why did you even bother with a supporting cast?
Why huh? You don't care about ANYONE else at all. So what was the point?
WHY?
I like Goku. I like Vegeta. But I also like other characters and concepts as well, and I hate that they just get abandoned like that.
I miss seeing characters besides the Saiyans fight. I miss the Kaiouken. I miss the power pole and the Kintoun.
I wish that Namek hadn't inflated the power levels as high as it did. I wish that it never reached the point where only the saiyans could do anything (or were allowed to do anything).
I hate that on the occasions where other characters are allowed to do anything, not only nothing more than barely holding on until Goku (and now Vegeta) arrive, but also that there are still other characters who get pushed out of the plot (18, Buu and even damned Yamcha should have been at the Resurrection F battle. I admit that there's no other reason for it but me wanting them dare, especially in the case of the last one, but I don't care. I said it, I meant it, and no amount of logic about why they don't matter—especially in the case of Yamcha—is gonna make me change my mind).
I...man, I don't know what I want out of Dragonball anymore. Super just feels like missed opportunities these days. I admit most of the stuff mentioned here is just me wanting the story to be what I want it to be, but like most of you, Frost just being a villain is massively disappointing. There's was some incredible potential to explore, but Toriyama wasted it. The whole thing with Monaka is just another example of that. What was the point?
One Strip! One Strip! So yeah, Piccolo should have handled Botamo, and force Frost into final form, rather than having Goku start out with that. Same results, more engaging handling.
Also, Rob, FFS, relax. I come here to see discussion, not rants about how supposedly horrible something is, because it doesn't live up to some expectations.
Maybe I am emotional, but are all of you really satisfied with how things have been going?
I mean, there's so much that can be explored, and it's just not happening.
I know he's expanded some of the background lore and the like (and I've been grateful for that) but he needs to give Goku and Vegeta a break. You got other people in the cast. Use them.
And I'm (hopefully) done.
Also, I don't own a dog. I'd be a lousy pet owner anyway, because I'd forget to feed it, and then be wracked with guilt when it died.
One Strip! One Strip!I kinda vaguely remember that. Can't remember the dude's name, but touche.
Though lets be honest, being better than GT isn't dififcult.
That being said, even GT has some ideas that I liked (not the Shadow Dragons, as Saiga basically tore that down) but Super Saiyan 4 is an interesting idea, as a sort of alternate possible form (that takes advantage of the Oozaru transformation and the tails, which I also kinda miss).
One Strip! One Strip!I suppose I'm the same.
I want to be able to enjoy the series, even as I lament what could have be though. Hopefully, the next few arcs still have some good potential.
One Strip! One Strip!

While it did play out as such, I ultimately don't mind that Goku and Vegeta could body the tournament themselves.
