With assistance from randomly powered up Gohan remember.
Even when Piccolo did have an attack that could have worked, it both took way too long to charge up, and was dodged.
Plus, that was back then. Once Power Levels get high enough, I don't think something like that would work. Note that we've never seen a two on one fight like that ever again since.
One Strip! One Strip!Anyone ever wonder what the other androids were like? The ones that didn't appear in the main series or get a movie, I mean. Android 9 was apparently the tricked out cyborg corpse of General Red or whatever is name was. That would be sort of an interesting thing to explore, finding out why they were all failures.
I'm surprised Sergeant Metallic wasn't part of the numbered Androids. He was clearly one of the most successful too, since he whooped Goku's ass, and still kept going for a bit after having his head Kamehameha'ed clean off.
Don't know why Gero didn't just stick with that design. It was without a doubt one of his best.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.So...in Super, people were surprised that Piccolo refused to train with Goku and Vegeta, saying he Can't Catch Up.
And, I mean...were people seriously expecting Piccolo to leave the Can't Catch Up club? He didn't get a power-up in the Buu Saga. It would be incredibly unlikely for him to get another one. And there's no one left for him to fuse with.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Is he, though? They were training together, but that doesn't mean they're close in strength.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Which is weird, because if Gohan lost the powerup he got in the Buu saga, Piccolo should be significantly more powerful than his base state. 'Cause, you know, the saiyans get most of their power from the SSJ transformations.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI'm positive Gohan was not weakened all the way to SS1 being a 50x multiplier. He got weaker, but not by an enormous amount and he just used SS1 to make up the difference. Base Gohan being stronger than Piccolo was heavily implied in Freeza Saga 2 and Gohan made improvements through training so if Piccolo is even with him, he must've made improvements as well. Personally, I'd put current Piccolo around Buu Saga SS2 Goku, at the minimum.

I think that might be because you're hoping that to be the case, because the only thing he's ever said about the anime was (non-specific) complaints and "I don't have time for it".
The Tuffles were his invention, and the Kaio filler didn't have him mention that the Saiyans were not from Planet Plant. That was Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans. And it's not the only source, that has been all over the place.
We don't know how much of BOG comes from Toriyama, though, since Yusuke Watanabe wrote the original script and Super Saiyan God was also created before Toriyama got involved.
That backstory makes sense as something that came from the original script, since in that version Beerus was responsible for infecting the originally pure-hearted Saiyans with evil and the whole plot was more clearly good vs evil.
He's been the source of a lot of filler Toei has used. He designed a lot of anime exclusive characters (including Gregory), came up with Yamcha as a baseball player, the Tuffles as mentioned, and other things.
That's assuming he ever saw it. Also, this filler is probably based on one of the manga's title pages where Goku is trying to teach Piccolo to drive.
Now you have dropped below Yu Yu Hakusho logic into Dory mode.
Goku and Piccolo would have beat Raditz through numerical advantage, superior training and tactics if not for the facts that 1: Raditz was his brother and 2: Piccolo Jr was the one who was helping take him down.
Seeing that the spawn of an evil demon could do "good" and the fact Goku could have been just like Raditz made him go soft, become sympathetic, listen to Raditz's grovelling. Had Goku been less empathetic, Raditz would have been dead without Gohan's involvement.
True, Raditz could have just killed Goku at Kameshin's house before he got the chance to team up with Goku, Raditz also had some level of empathy for his brother, but that is a good example of two weaker fighters being able to beat a stronger one.
Buldogue's lawyer

Bah! I don't know if I knew that or if I just forgot, but that's typical.
So considering that we already established that weaker fighters working together can't beat a more powerful opponent, this just means that if Buu hadn't done it first, had Beerus ever decided to just fuck all the Kai's up, there's would have been no way to stop him (barring Whis, and I don't know if I trust him that much either in that regard).
That seems really...lopsided
