Dragon Ball Heroes God Mission 6 commercial:
Time Patrol Gotenks' special attack is the Super Burning Kamehameha.
Majin Buu's forms give me headaches.
I've been thinking a lot about the Buu Saga lately. The Buu Saga vs GT vs Super vs whatever people say sucks.
All the recent criticism of Super has been making people relook through the series. And, yeah...the Buu Saga doesn't hold up that well. Except for it being funny.
Let's put it this way: when you have no idea how strong the villain is, you know you've screwed up. Although you can always blame anime filler for that. They made Kid Buu look a LOT stronger than his actions in canon.

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!My favorite thing is Buu's Fury's interpretation of Buu's power. It goes: Fat Buu < Super Buu < Buutenks < Buuhan < Kid Buu. Funny thing is, it's actually explained with Kid Buu never absorbing South Kaioshin and just the Dai Kaioshin. Presumably the Dai Kaioshin weakened Buu farther than Gohan and Gotenks powered him up!

Bah, Broly was already a galaxy destroyer. Kid Buu ain't got shit.
It's why I'm so annoyed with people talking about Super's feats like they're so amazing. Beerus sneezed away a planet? Good for him. People in the Toei verse can destroy galaxies.
But yes, Buu Saga isn't very good. Only highlight of it for me was Super Buu. Dabura had great potential with his voice and design but alas.

We DO know how strong Boo is. It's very, very clear.
It's only unclear with forms that didn't fight (Buff Boo) or forms that only fought other Boos (any time Boo splits).
And the Boo arc had a lot of criticisms before the recent arcs started. It's more like people are going back to those to deflect attention away from the newer materials' obvious flaws. Classic misdirection.
I still think the Boo Saga may be my favorite but it really loses steam once Vegetto shows up (since his appearance in the manga is nowhere near as amazing as in the anime).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!FYI, Nikkolas, Broly destroyed that galaxy planet by planet, not in one shot. He probably only destroyed the inhabited planets, too.
Or maybe he just threw the most powerful attack he could at the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy and it blew up. Somehow.
The anime team went "Hey, we've got this Crazy Awesome Too Cool to Live character who didn't really shine in the manga. What do we do with him?"
"We'll have him curbstomp the bad guy while in base form!"
"No, I've got one better: We'll make him fight as a jawbreaker!"
"GIVE THIS GUY A PROMOTION RIGHT NOW! LET'S DO THIS BITCH!"

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariVegetto wrecking Boohan as a piece of candy is actually in the manga, though.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Planet by planet? Those are clearly stars disappearing in that cinematic opening. Why do people get so stuck up on that?
Okay, I know why people get stuck up on it. The Broly movie doesn't make much sense but people love Broly to death anyway, which leads to Broly showing up in later material that ends up making less sense due to his presence. But when you deny what was clearly shown on screen you're going too far. Just let it go, you're not going to make Broly less popular, not that way.

Buldogue's lawyerStar by star, planet by planet - at that level of power, the difference is where he aims more than anything else. However, he is not a galaxy buster. If he was, he'd have just been instakilled by Beerus because he'd become a nuisance.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariWell I would say maybe Beerus doesn't exist in Broly's universe but SSJ 4 Gogeta knows Beerus. I think Xenoverse can be used to an extent? To the extent that it just acknowledges there are multiple universes, which seems fairly uncontroversial.
Well timelines and universes are different. In an alternate timeline, most of the same people will exist. In an alternate universe, huge scores of people could be missing between the different universes.
There is no Cooler or whatever in the "Canon" verse for example but there is in the Toei verse.
Yes I know it's a lot of semantics but given there are multiple timelines in the Canon Verse, distinguishing between universes and timelines is important.

Trunks created a split-timeline, not a parallel universe. It's one universe with at least two branches all with time-travel catalyzing events that caused the timeline to split.
The GT, Movie, and Super Universes existing side-by-side are completely different, conceptually, from what Trunks and Bulma did.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Alternate timelines, whatever.
And, yeah. Trunks's future and GT are explicitly mentioned to be split/divergent timelines that the Supreme Kai of Time and her Time Patrol have jurisdiction over.
Still part of the same universe, technically.
I mean. Champa isn't an alternate version of Beerus, he's Beerus's cousin. Vados isn't an alternate version of Whis, she's his sister.
The Seventh Universe and Sixth Universe aren't alternates of each other, they just happen to have similarities due to their closeness.

I'm sorry, what? If you're talking about the anime filler, South was absolutely not beating Boo. They kind of appeared to be even, but after South ripped off Boo's arm Boo proceeded to regenerate his arm and take South Kaioshin down with one kick. South Kaioshin was beaten before he was absorbed.
West got the shit beaten out of her without offering much resistance.
