Goten actually got some focus in DBH for once! I'm shocked actually lol.

My PC in Xenoverse was a Time Patrol Goten. It was based on the idea of "What if Krillin did kill Vegeta on when he tried to escape from Earth."

Vegeta's gravity chamber still works. Kinda. Like, not to godly levels, but.

Just make the weighted training clothes weigh more.

Weighted clothing was specifically phased out by Goku but Piccolo always seemed to keep using it (at least in the Android arc) despite it being treated as an outdated concept for the others.

Probably because Piccolo's weights are just more iconic to him.

edit:

Come to think of it, why doesn't he just use it to completely immobilize anyone? I'm assuming a lot of the clothes he makes are weighted. And that can easily be applied to be used against an opponent.

Because that'd be funny for like 5 seconds and then terrible in every instance after that.

But really, we don't know how heavy he can make the clothes. Obviously heavy enough to encumber himself to an extent, but I don't know if he could just immobilize someone of a similar or higher strength. There's got to be some upper limit, maybe he couldn't make something he couldn't himself lift.

I mean, he did fuse with God.

Can God make weighted clothing so heavy that even he can't lift it?

Seeing as how this God is most certainly not omnipotent, that question kinda falls flat.

GT had Pan who I love. Also her Power Level should be in the millions. Where in the millions, I dunno. Around or above Final Form Freeza though so somewhere from I think 30,000,000 to 120,000.000.

Also dat Japanese OP.

Also Shadow Dragon CONCEPT is awesome. Execution not so much.

SS 4 Gogeta should still be strongest ever.

[up]Eh I wouldn't say that strong. Like, wasn't it implied that based-form Goku didn't get on par with Freeza until after he had already achieved god-hood?

I mean, if she inherited Gohan's mystic whatever somehow.

So she could be stronger than Majin Buu.

...I mean, she's not, so she didn't, so.

[up][up] It's hard to say. One reason I like Pan is because, as frustrating as it was she didn't get more fights or go SSJ, it's kind of interesting to try and nail down her exact level.

It all stems from the original complication of trying to measure Dr. Gero compared to Freeza. There's no real concrete evidence about how they compare. Base Goku couldn't do anything to Gero with an infuriated blow except knock his hat off. But later Piccolo easily overpowerd a Gero who was hopped up on Piccolo's own energy/ki.

Anyway, in case you don't recall, Pan easily kicked the shit out of Gero in GT, hence why trying to establish Gero's level in relation to Freeza would be helpful.

Pan was absorbed by one of the Shadow Dragons at one point, too. GT is not very good and I last watched it a year ago so I can't recall if Pan-absorbed Whatever Dragon did damage to Goku. If so, that be pretty impressive and a good indication of her strength.

As I recall, her Kamehameha did damage Oceanus Shenron, who was probably the strongest of the "Silly Dragons' maybe. I forget.

Using GT to try and determine a character's relative power is the path to insanity. After all, Goku manages to defeat Super Perfect Cell and Final Form Freeza without even using Super Saiyan despite the fact that they were even stronger than in life.

That's cuz Goku is super strong, duh.

[up][up] It was going Super Saiyan that made Goku have the heart attack. He attacked Gero before this, when Gero was destroying that city.

Except we aren't. Piccolo still uses them in Resurrection 'F'. The only explanation is that Piccolo can synthesize weighted clothing weighing billions of tons.

Do they enhance his training in any way, or does he just wear them? Because in the case of the latter, I defer to this conversation from Dead Zone Abridged.

  • PICCOLO: Why did you even bring your weighted gear?
  • GOKU: Why did you?
  • PICCOLO: Because I don't have a house to leave them in.

Piccolo continues to wear his weighted clothing everywhere because he has nowhere to put them. I suppose there's the Lookout but that's Dende's place now.

I think I saw that.

But, he can make the clothes appear at will when he needs them.

I mean, can't he just make them disappear as well?

Now that I think about it, can he make them disappear? I'd never thought of it before.

I suppose Piccolo could tuck his weighted gear under a rock or something but they're his only possessions and he may not want to lose them.

And, like, it's hard to find the exact rock that you left something under when it could have been literally anywhere on the planet, especially since Piccolo can't sense a ki signature from his weights.

I'm pretty sure Piccolo bums around the woods near Goku's house. Just dig a hole near the porch and bury the clothes.

Yeah, but we don't know the mechanics of the Clothes Beam. It might be Cast on Target only. Maybe he skipped out of the Mage Guild too fast and forgot to pick up the Cast on Self version.

I'm pretty sure he used it on himself once. I'm sure I've seen him do it at least twice.

The second time was when he was flying to Kami's to fuse with him, and added the cape and hat back in mid flight (or when he arrived there. I'm not sure.)

Fun and games aside, Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! shows that Piccolo is able to overpower a specialty technique of a being that required base Gotenks for Goten and Trunks to stand a chance against using his own, which he does without taking his weights off.

Revival Of F also makes it clear that Piccolo still fights better without weights. So there are some implications that he's stronger than Goten and Trunks individually, though still weaker than base Gotenks. Another implication of the Abo and Kado fight is that Goku and Vegeta are as strong as base Gotenks as Super Saiyan 1, although Vegeta does comment that Trunks has regressed as a fighter, so that may only be true after the Buu saga.

Friends return also has the implication that 18 has learned to sense ki but Majin Buu hasn't, although Kibitoh Kai also doesn't react either to the arrival of Tarble and Gure nor to that of Abo and Kado, even though he should have been strong enough to deal with anything prior to the emergence of Aka.

That's actually easy to reconcile if you believe base GT Goku is stronger that Super Saiyan 3 Buu Saga Goku. Freeza and Cell can get stronger in GT's version of hell, but not exactly Buu strong.

I'd say the fact that Gero was losing to Piccolo who was only on-par with Second-Form Freeza, and how easily trounced 19 was getting by Goku note  and Vegeta, it's safe to say that Gero was way weaker than Freeza.

Even taking three years of training into account, I don't think Piccolo ever surpassed Freeza, let-alone reach his level, until he and Kami fused.
