I remember it had a lot of attempted Bowdlerizing by what they said.
"Man, these earthlings sure run away fast!"
Stuff like that.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseApparently the building Vegeta and Nappa crashed through was abandoned because it was a Sunday (And Nappa apparently knows that Earth buildings are mysteriously vacant on Sundays), and apparently everyone in the entire goddamn city was able to evacuate within the half a second it took Nappa to vaporize it.
Not that it matters anyway, since people can't die in Ocean Dub, just get sent to the next dimension.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I found out about this site a while ago. It was made a long time ago, but it's basically him pointing out everything wrong with the original Ocean dub, episode by episode.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!As last rides for three eyed cowboys go, it was pretty good.
Still kinda a dumb line, but hey, early dub. Can't all be winners.
That's because you have no soul.
Tien the three eyed cowboy!
Fired a strong Kikohou!
But since that Nappa saw him!
It was not the final blow!
All of the other warriors!
Cried and shouted out his name!
But for our man Tenshihan!
It was the end of the game!
Man. I actually think I could keep going with that one.

One Strip! One Strip! That was early dub DBZ for you man.
I mean, Vegeta compared being a good villain to being a photographer....
Which is kinda an apt comparison, but still.
One Strip! One Strip! The site that was just linked to that compares the original Japanese and the Ocean dub is a bit biased, and has some errors.
For one, the original Japanese scene where Krillin is about to kill Vegeta does NOT have Goku begging Krillin to let him live because he thinks Vegeta has learned his lesson or whatever. We all should know by this point that Vegeta only lived because Goku wanted to fight him again, nothing to do with the so-called "mercy" the site claims he intended.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?It was made in, like, the early 2000's. I cut it a little slack.

Yeah, it's one of those things that, other than nostalgia, there's really no defense for it.
