^^ There is one in Red Alert Remastered’s skirmish mode. I don’t remember that feature being in the original game.
That said I know it’s devilishly easy to mod the original Red Alert’s resource regeneration rate. It doesn’t take much to make it spread so fast it literally covers every eligible map tile in short order.
I heard you can use old rules.ini on Red Alert Remastered. I’m going to have to test it out one day after beating all the levels because my old mod for RA 1 made at least one of levels unwinnable because of either extended weapon ranges (mostly), the various balance and design changes I did or causing bugs with mission triggers because i made power plants give more power. (A couple expansion missions have this issue.)
Indeed, that was the file that was modified in the Steam Workshop mod I installed (and modified myself to increase Tiberium/Ore yields immensely), as well as expanding the range of construction rights provided by other structures (mostly to make Tiberian Dawn use Red Alert 1's extension).
ASAB: All Sponsors Are Bad.Same with workers, since they were both responsible for repairs and base construction. It's only the supply truck that became useless after a point, really.
I've heard some folks suggest turning them into some sort of cheap transport, scout unit, or armored gun truck as an upgrade option, but apparently nobody's ever implemented it in their mods for some reason.

To be fair the supply trucks are utterly forgettable from a mod perspective. Easy to miss.
Especially since they highly resemble civilian truck doodads.
The only logical auxiliary use for them would be as infantry transports but that then makes them no different than Chinooks.
It’s quite the quandary.
Sure, you could certainly use the Chinooks and Workers for something else, but when you want to expand to many areas, you're going to be stuck with a lot of them. And plenty of excess Supply Centers/Stashes too (and if you sold too many structures at once, the game would think you're losing and actually play the music accordingly; this is a recent discovery of mine).
ASAB: All Sponsors Are Bad.I feel like that's a thing for every RTS that uses a harvester. Unless like StarCraft you have a population cap and so many mineral fields that it takes both sides an hour to mine out everything.
Continue writing our story of peace. It’s based off critical structures. Supply depots, command centers, factories, airfields, tech buildings (black markets, Particle cannon uplinks, internet centers, etc), and barracks. Sell just one and it turns to the “losing” music. Have just one destroyed and it does that.
At least in skirmish/multiplayer.
You can sell all the power plants and base defenses you want and it’ll keep up the regular music.
Wait, the in-game music in Generals is dynamic? I thought it just shifted from one track to the other in a preset sequence.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
It normally is...except in that instance. Which is a shame, as the game really does have distinctive "idle" and "action" tracks, something that wouldn't be programmed proper until Red Alert 3.
Selling excess Supply Centers/Stashes was actually the first time I've ever heard said music tracks (this was less than two years ago when I was conquering every map in Generals again).

ASAB: All Sponsors Are Bad.Generals has a set of "calm" music and "combat" music depending on the situation.
Continue writing our story of peace. Not gonna lie, sometimes I prefer the set music list (or a set list set to shuffle) of the old games over dynamic music.
Because in the old games you could manually set it to whatever you wanted for the situation at hand.
Like for example it made for some weirdness and awesomeness at the same time switching to Mechanical Man right before you go on the attack in Tiberian Dawn.
C&C3's soundtrack certainly gets used a lot in other sources of media though, especially on Youtube in the places you'd least expect. The ones I hear most frequently is Tiberian Influx and Aftermath.
Come to think of it, the same thing has happened with some of Frank Klepacki's tracks. I've heard a lot of his stuff used on Spike TV (back when it was still on air) the UFC fighting channels, and even ESPN.

I think a simple slider on how fast resources can regenerate would make it more fun for many people.
