I was originally going with Wednesday, just because that WAS the day I was going on, but that's not binding. If there's enough interest, I'll expound on the specifics of the campaign a bit more.
The current design basically has the P Cs having to kiss up to some NP Cs (running various quests of varied importance) from all around the world/continent/whatever in what will ultimately be an attempt to save... THE WORLD!!! 18 Gods refers to the 18 gods that each have their own divine emissary, which are the characters the P Cs will have to appeal to.
"What does god need with a Starship Emissary?"

A Divine Emissary is a character who has a direct mental link with the god in question. Deities do not otherwise communicate with the material world except through exarchs and implicitly (by how they're willing to assign followers etc). Divine Emissaries are basically given a spark of divine power, and in return, they're responsible for communicating the word of said god.
Urgh. I would, but I'm in enough things already, and I don't have the CB Loader...
"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "Technically, the CB Loader itself may or may not be illegal. It's only the part files that are in violation of copyright law after all. Though, running the CB Loader is probably a breach of the end user license agreement, but considering that the Character Builder is now abandonware, I don't know how that holds up.
Of course, you need to HAVE the character builder-or have had it installed on your machine before they stopped supporting it-to use the CB Loader.
Don't say stuff that can easily be read as promoting illegal things. If Google thinks we're willingly hosting illegal things or telling people how or where to do illegal things (of course they're extra sensitive to piracy,) they can stop giving us ads and then we're offline for good.
Remember the Google Incident? Someone told Google to investigate our site and Google found stuff that violated the agreement we have and they pulled the ads until we made the changes needed to stick to the agreement. Among the list of stuff we need to get rid of was piracy-related things. It's OK to talk about piracy as an issue, but don't talk about doing it yourself and don't tell people how and where to do it.
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.I'm interested, but I don't have character builder. Have you considered having us keep track of our stats on Obsidian Portal? They have fillable character sheets for 4E there. They look like this
. Alternately, could I use Character Tool?
Character builder is just a recommendation for player's sakes-it's not mandatory. I tend to use Wikidot to host the information because it's what I'm familiar with, and because I tend to use Character Builder print-outs for data sets anyway.
Alright, that makes two people who are decidedly interested. If I can get a third, I'll set up the wiki for the campaign and go into more detail.

Playing a tiefling is fine, but in the context of this campaign, devil characters (tieflings, some warlocks, etc) have certain specific baggage that will be relevant for the prologue quest (which involves raiding a devil worshiping cult to rescue one of the divine emissaries, in traditional Bad Dudes style).
NOTE: I jest about the Bad Dudes style-there's a good deal more plot than just that.

OK, cool. Also, I'd actually recommend using Character Tool - you can save your sheets as maptool tokens, make macros from within the software, etc.
Speaking of macros, Tomu, could you make sure that Max_HP is listed somewhere under the properties? It'll make everyone's life a lot easier.

Once I know who all is playing, I'll start figuring out what properties we're going to be using. I can just use a different set of properties for each character if need be, so if you want to get started on your macros ASAP, just create a list of what properties you'd need and then I'll create a subset of properties to match.

LET'S DO SOMETHING CONVENIENT: http://www.wizards.com/DnD/Article.aspx?x=dnd/updates
90% of you probably don't know this exists, but it's where you get all your spifftacular updates on the game. Make sure that nothing you're using has been updated since the dawn of time.
Alright, I'm not officially announcing anything, but I'm gauging interest for a Dn D game.
SPECS:
MATERIALS REQUIRED Maptools; I am going to hope that people can write up their own macros. However, for those of you who aren't familiar with this, I'm willing to help (especially if you're playing a "simple" class like the Slayer or the Elementalist) IRC RECOMMENDED MATERIALS A DDI subscription, or the CB Loader.
CAMPAIGN FACTS -Campaign will likely include a soundtrack of Mp3s that will be distributed. In particular, I intend on using Swan Lake. You know, that song used in Loom. You know the one.
-Very linear gameplay. Game is quest oriented.
-Emphasis on characters interacting with named NP Cs. If you think of NP Cs as roadblocks, rather than characters you can interact with, not the game for you.
-Emphasis is also on tactical combat. If you're not interested in thinking during the game, game isn't for you.
-Going to be fairly strict with what campaign materials are allowable. Right now, I'm thinking Core (PHB 1, 2, and 3 only) + everything post-essentials (aka the "Heroes of-" books). Will probably also allow Psionic Power. This mostly refers to feats and powers; paragon paths and epic destinies I'm a bit more open on. Still, any non-core game materials released prior to Essentials needs to be checked with me.
-Starting level: 10th level for the prologue.
-Day and time: Undetermined. Probably in the evenings EST, and unlikely to be Saturdays.
Post in this thread if you're tentatively interested or have any further questions. If I ever get around to deciding to work on maybe launching the campaign, I'll set up a wikidot for it so there's a site for it.
