Inspired by this thread
, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

- Padding: You have to play all ten stages for every character's story, regardless if it has any bearing on the plot or not. However, one particularly crazy example is a part of Sonic's story where you have to play Wave Ocean a second time, only with Tails. You could easily cut it out of the game with zero impact on the plot, and nobody would even guess there was supposed to be something there.
I'm not even sure if this fits Padding, since the video game equivalent is Fake Longevity. It's not even a pointless story bit, more like a pointless gameplay bit.

Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread! It's a correct entry tho. It could be moved to Fake Longevity if you want.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I'm not fully sure where this goes on the complaining spectrum, but I put YMMV.Fraggle Rock on my watchlist specifically BECAUSE I anticipated an edit of this type, and sure enough, over a month after the teaser...
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Many fans were baffled by the decision to redesign Mokey in Back to the Rock, as her prior design worked just fine; one complaint is that Mokey's frilly hair was pushed back, losing much of her expressiveness.

She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkI commented this out from NauseaFuel.Western Animation:
- Two words, Mega Babies. We'd honestly have a field day listing everything gross from this show, be it plot, sound effect, character design, or even music, that was not an example of this. Mostly because typing nothing is pretty easy.
It only serves to hop on the “Mega Babies bad” bandwagon. Come to think of it, the entire page is really complainy.

How about something like this?
- Mega Babies is built around this trope, with scenes such as the baby protagonists making giant dumps in their diapers abounding in each episode.
I'll admit it's not the best way to describe it, but I feel it's a good template to base the entry on.

Also that "two words" at the beginning. Classic ZCE.
I just found this example a long ago in Network Decay subpage called Total Abandonment. And I found this one complaininy and outdated. It's complaininy because it's basically bashing on the channel because of the change and it's outdated because the channel is no longer Total Abandoned. I think this example should be change a bit and moved to Temporary Shfts. Can anyone help me with that? Here's the example:
- Filipino Free-to-air channel TV5 started out as a youth-oriented channel with less news, thanks to the Animega block. But when they got so popular with the public, this went over their head and deleted the block, put a variety show in the evening, and put in horrible Filipino dubs of Cartoon Network and Disney Channel shows, and even dubbed the movies that air in the channel's movie block and made it an all-masa (masses) station. Many youths are pissed off with the changes and the deletion of the block, that many of them are asking the channel to bring it back to the way it was, but the higher-ups in the channel didn't care at all. Until they reaired Mobile Suit Gundam 00 at 9:30 am, and after that, they went back to their "We don't care about anime" status and shilling nothing but EVERY SHOW AND MOVIE THAT WAS IN ENGLISH, NOW DUBBED IN TAGALOG (A trend that later spread to its rival networks) as a big middle finger to the very demographic that supported them in the past.
- Now branded as just "5", it would now be also called "ESPN 5"due to a deal with ESPN, having abandoned most of the general programming in favor of sports programming, airing NFL National Football League and US' NCAA games in the country - on top of local basketball games via the Philippines Basketball Association.

"Now it's starting to feel like a game!"The page for Literature.Back To The Future is very snarky, which seems to be a carry over from fans of Ryan North's B to the F: The Novelization of the Feature Film, a dissection of said novel.
I found the following paragraph on the YMMV page of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, and I correctly guessed who added it (several months ago):
- Much like Elmo from Sesame Street, the Cat in the Hat and the Little Cats got way too much screen time in the second season.
They really liked shoehorning their Elmo hatred into everything, didn't they?
Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread! Can someone please check my previous post? I appreciate it if you do it ASAP. Here's the repost.

"Now it's starting to feel like a game!"![]()
That is excruciatingly whiny. I also can't speak for its legitimacy as I do not live in the Philippines. At best it needs a top-to-bottom rewrite.
What should I rewrite as? Don't worry I'll have it check on Get Help With English forum. Also I think I should move it to Temporary Shifts since the channel now brought back to being entertainment chanel due to teaming up with its rival channel ABS-CBN.
As I said, I do not know because I do not live in the Philippines.
Any tropers who live in the Philippines here who could help?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallA bit of a weird case: The YMMV page for The Amazing Spider-Man Series doesn't bash the work at all, but rather it seems to go the opposite route and defend the movie series too much. In that way it seems to be dipping into Complaining About People Not Liking the Show territory, and seems to take sides / repeatedly state why the fan reaction is "unfair" or "biased", which isn't how YMMV pages are supposed to work. I want a second opinion though. And if this is the wrong thread I apologize but I couldn't think of anywhere better.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallMaybe you should go to the gushing thread? But I'm still not sure if that's the right place you should go.
Guys how cool would it be if Super Megaforce had a green ranger...

Not a notable aversion, and too opinionated. Cut. Seems more like gushing to me though.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.
