Inspired by this thread
, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

I found this on iDubbbzTV.
- Fan Hater: Not usually, but his Content Cop on Jinx dips into this, as he blames the man's fans for supporting his content just as much as he blames Jinx himself. It culminates in the caption "If you like this, jump off a bridge" plastered onscreen as Ian struggles to get through Jinx's "Rihanna Interview." However, considering how utterly terrible and cringeworthy said video is, it's hard to find Ian at fault here.
Cut everything from the "However" onward, as it's far too close to saying those fans actually deserve suicide which is not kosher.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I found this on Dude, Not Funny!:
- In Steven Universe, the episode "Too Far" revolves around this trope. Steven has to tell Peridot that by joking about how Amethyst is "defective", she really hurt Amethyst's feelings. Peridot realizes her mistake and apologizes, though nobody calls Amethyst out on how she was fine laughing at the jokes Peridot was making about everyone else.
The bolded part seems iffy to me, as it seems to call out something that wasn't even focused on in the episode itself, comes across as tacked on due to everything before it sounding fine, and even potholes to Hypocrite. Permission to delete?

Dude, Not Funny! is about in universe reactions, it kind of has to be because everything is not funny to some one.
I would definitely cut the bolded part because, by definition, if no one is objecting to what Amethyst is doing then it doesn't fit.
On the topic of No-Respect Guy, I edited both aforementioned entries to be less complainy.
There's this example on California Doubling/California:
- A horrifying example of California Doubling in the United States was the short-lived Fox series Drive (2007). The series started in Florida, going through Georgia, and through the desert of southern California every step of the way. Florida has no mountains, period, end of discussion.
StockParodyJokes.Animated Films had this added initially, which I think is kosher:
- It's rather common to portray Mickey Mouse as the person actually running the Walt Disney Company.
- It's annoyingly common to portray Mickey Mouse as the person actually running the Walt Disney Company. More often than not, they butcher him into a Corrupt Corporate Executive. Just about everyone who jokes about Disney's practices does this, to give you an idea of how overused it is.
I removed most of the complaining on VideoGame.Bomberman Act Zero. YMMV needs a look though.

This entry from YMMV.Cinema Sins seems a bit compliany:

Not sure what that's for - is it Memetic Mutation? Because that is 100 percent, absolutely a thing, but I've never been in favor of listing complaining memes under that trope and I'm not sure it's site policy either.
(I also don't like referencing a specific work.)
Is it even really a meme? It's more of a pop culture theory. Using the "ding!" to reference nitpicking is more of a meme than this is.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Regarding the example listed with The Last Jedi, the information is more All There in the Manual rather than something obvious.
This is on Schoolhouse Rock! under the "Interjections" folder:
Large Ham: Pretty much anyone who talks, to drive the point of how an interjection makes a difference (y'know, because kids are stupid).
I'm not sure that the part in parentheses is really necessary...
How does that even mean kids are stupid? It's exaggerated because interjections are meant to draw attention. It's not simply a matter of shouting at kids obnoxiously. Cut the parenthetical.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. If everyone is a Large Ham, wouldn't it fit World of Ham better?
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Found on Purple Prose:
- Sadly, this trope is common in just about every role-playing chat-room. Usually, the worst perpetrators are young girls (aged 13-21), playing oh-so-beautiful and perfect characters. In any given chat, 50% of the people will make perfectly comprehensible posts, 25% will write with so many typos, misspellings, and so much text speak that their posts are almost incomprehensible, and 25% will write with prose so purple that it seeps into the ultraviolet.
The way this example is written is basically mocking and complaining about people on RP chats.

@nanakiro: Honestly, No-Respect Guy sees a lot of misuse. The general summation is that it is two tropes in one-Only Sane Man and Chew Toy, but plenty of the examples do not fit both criteria, and are generally just a different way to say Butt-Monkey.
And the Dipper example is just a really clear example of the trope being used to bash another character. Mabel's vocal hatedom aside, there's no reason to bring any of that up if you've already properly established that Dipper is a No-Respect Guy.
Which, he isn't, really (he's closer to Butt-Monkey but even then many episodes end with various positive things happening to/for Dipper). I would go ahead and cut that example, and probably several others on the page.
