Inspired by this thread
, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

Yeah, I donβt think itβs a good idea to have an entire page dedicated to bitchinβ. Delete it. Maybe put it on "Blind Idiot" Translation or something.
Just made a server on discord.Come join me.Ake Ohlmarks' page content should be summarized into "Blind Idiot" Translation. It also features the ghastly table formatting, which should be removed if transplanted.
Given that LOTR apparently has a long history of "Blind Idiot" Translation into multiple languages, IMO it probably deserves its own section in BlindIdiotTranslation.Literature.

From Freudian Slip (emphasis mine):
- Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Used as a plot device, near the end of the series, Sabrina has a Freudian Slip (interestingly in front of her fiance's psychologist mother) when she meant to say "I love _____" (honestly, how many of us can remember the name of the boyfriend at the final season, the show had a real problem with major time holes between seasons) what she ended up saying is "I love Harvey!"
If anyone knows the character she's referring to's name so I can replace the bolded bit, this would help.
This entry is on the Anvilicious.Other Media page, and it comes across as complaining about plot lines people don't like.
- RWBY always had the moral of Armies Are Evil since the second Volume, but it was mostly the subtle nod to how sending an army to a celebration of peace might send the wrong message to people. However, it was during Volumes 6 to 8, in which the Atlasian Army became the main antagonists, that this aesop get cranked Up To Eleven, with every character involved in the army either being unrepentantly evil and kicking dogs left and right, having obvious signs of not wanting to be part of the army anymore, or following orders to the point of firmly grasping the Idiot Ball.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Attention: Genshin Impact is currently under fire for lackluster anniversary rewards to the point of review bombing other gacha games. I recommend high alert on these pages.
Eh, good enough.![]()
Not just other gatcha games, people have been review bombing Google Classroom of all things in anger. The pages currently look fine, except the Memes pages. I don't know enough about the fanbase to know if they actually are memes though.

Speaking of Genshin Impact, this was just added to YMMV.Deltarune under Fandom Rivalry:
- A week after Chapter 2 released, Genshin Impact had its Noelle starting to trend on Twitter, confusing Deltarune fans that said trend wasn't about their Noelle. As a result, fans of both games started butting heads with each other over supremacy of the trend. The fact that Genshin Impact's very controversial anniversary event was happening around the same time did nothing to quell these scuffles.
I know I already brought this example up in ATT because of an Edit War, and the entire example might get cut anyway because I'm not sure how legit it is, but surely this bit can easily go, yeah?

Feel free to help with the sandbox or edit my troper wallWhy is the image on Fan Sub so despective? I know Fansubs can be... not good, but that is not an excuse to bash the concept.

Image wouldβve been a better fit for Too Long; Didn't Dub than this trope.

As someone who likes both games, I haven't seen any drama about that issue, but I'm not very active in the Twitter sides of those fandoms. I have a feeling that the YMMV page of Genshin Impact should be kept on watch to make sure it's not flooded with too many complaints about the anniversary and Kokomi.
On closer inspection that Fan Sub page is super awful. It's filled with bashing and "Recent examples" that date to 2008.

The anniversary bits on the memes page will definitely need a look.
There may be quite a bit; typing "anniversary" in a browser's Find bar is bound to reveal some trouble spots. The controversy has its own bullet point:
- Memes about the Anniversary presents:
- "Three Fowls, take it or leave it" Explanation
- Our expectations for you were low but HOLY FUCK Explanation Clarifications
- Bennett's Middle Finger Explanation
- We wanted a free 5-star, so we'll give you a free one star instead Explanation

"Complaining" memes can still be valid, and it'd feel lame to remove them just cuz they're critical of a work. It's just that the explanations themselves shouldn't just bitch about the work. They should, well, explain the context, objectively.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Looks like Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS was partially affected as well. Recommend a sweep.
Eh, good enough.WMG.Allen Gregory is full of meta bashing, all speculation on the show being bad on purpose except one, which still uses the opportunity to bash the characters.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Teen Titans Go! was also like that last time I checked (which was like 4-5 years ago to be honest)
Hoo boy, someone needs to check on Infinite. Some of the examples sounds complainy including Artistic License β Physics and Plot Hole.
"Now it's starting to feel like a game!"

How does Ohlmarks even qualify for a Creator page? He's a (bad) translator, yes, but there's no evidence from the page of his having produced any original work.
