Inspired by this thread
, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Sorry to double post, but this is how the description for Gilligan's Island begins:
...Wait, did we get mixed up with the article on Survivor? How about Lost? No? Okay, just checking.
This is just blatant complaining. Permission to cut?

Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallShould the first half of this example from The Matrix Resurrections be removed as it seems to be complaining about an unrelated work?:
- Real Life Writes the Hairstyle: Likely taking a lesson from the debacle of Henry Cavill's mustache in Justice League, Keanu Reeves kept his John Wick look (beard and long hair) for this film due to their overlapping productions.
~The Mayor of Simpleton: Umm, yeah, chop-chop that. It's blatant complaining. Not that I think it's wrong necessarily, but it has no place in the description of a work.
~Anddrix: The tone is a little bit off, but it sounds like it fits the definition of the Trivia trope, assuming it's true.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
Thanks. I have removed that portion of the description.

That just sounds like speculation.
Looking at the pages for Toddlers & Tiaras, I have to say it warrants a spot in the sandbox; the YMMV and Tear Jerker pages are full of complaining, the Trivia page has two entries complaining about similar shows, and even the main page has at least a little complaining.
Also, the Western Animation page features this entry:
- SpongeBob SquarePants:
- Patrick is completely absent throughout the infamous "A Pal for Gary", given all the torment Gary suffers and SpongeBob doing nothing about it and scolding him for being mean to his "pal", all because he ignored the seller's warning that the creature hates other animals.
The episode was still clearly meant to be a funny one (even if it failed), so it's not an example of Shoo Out the Clowns.
Not to mention Patrick stars in another episode that's hated for almost identical reasons. Plus he's absent from many episodes, it isn't notable.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Here's something I would like to address on My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic S9 E24 "The Ending of the End – Part 1"
- Fan-Disliked Explanation: Grogar revealed to actually be Discord in disguise, with the whole Legion of Doom thing merely being a Batman Gambit/False Flag Operation to give Twilight Sparkle a confidence boost. This drew a lot of ire from fans, as it not only pulled the rug out from under viewers who were actually happy to see Grogar in the show and had been looking forward to him, but it also throws Discord a big Idiot Ball with the reveal that he united several major villains (and two of them were ones imprisoned that he set free) and convinced them to work together to be a more dangerous threat to Equestria, which backfired horribly. He also did all this specifically so they could attack Equestria and Twilight could defeat them, as he thought it would boost her confidence, when he could have done this to try and reform them himself. That Discord was so easily outsmarted by the Mean Three and caught off guard and depowered without a struggle makes him look even more incompetent.
But here's an entry I added to the trivia page based on what I've researched.
- Word of God: According to series director, Jim Miller, The Reveal of Discord impersonating Grogar and forming the Legion of Doom to boost Twilight's confidence was planned from the beginning, as they wanted Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy Glow to be the Big Bad Triumvirate of the series finale because they had more of a connection to the Mane Cast.
Plus, the whole You Have Outlived Your Usefulness trope has already been done twice on the show, so a third time of it, if the real Grogar was the Big Bad, would've been redundant, so they decided to try The Starscream trope for a change. And it's, at least in my opinion, a cleaver way to deconstruct Discord's Trickster Mentor methods, and create the new conflict of Twilight and her friends dealing with a Villain Team-Up in the series finale.

That doesn't sound complainy though? It's a very common complaint, so much so that many fans turned on Discord completely because of it.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallIndeed, it is a very common, and I think justified, complaint about the plot twist.
Also, I have my doubts about just how early they came up with that idea. Grogar's first appearance seems to suggest that he was indeed going to be the Bigger Bad, which is probably part of why so many were disappointed when he turned out to be Discord. Also, there was no foreshadowing whatsoever before the finale.
