Inspired by this thread
, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

That entry kind of misses the whole point of episodes like "Flight of the Finish," which is that Scootaloo can live a perfectly happy life without the ability to fly. The thing that made her feel bad was when other kids made her feel bad for it. Plus she has her scooter to get around.
And given that it is ambiguous whether she's disabled, but ultimately the series skews more towards "yes" because adult!Scoots has tiny wings too, so I'm not really comfortable with the implication that she's gonna be sadder if she's not cured.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Not really a spoiler, but it is a strong implication by later episodes leaning towards disability rather than late bloomer. They never say she's disabled, for unfathomable reasons. Clearly having a lesbian couple was fine, but disability is still the big unmentionable...
Hope shines brightest in the darkest timesI think it was already pretty clear before the final season. Flight to the Finish already gave a pretty strong indication that Scootaloo's issue may go beyond merely being a late bloomer.
Also, if you're worried about late-series spoilers, you may not want to be in a cleanup thread. I recommend watching the last season at any rate to avoid any further spoilers.
Hope shines brightest in the darkest timesChecking YMMV.Rugrats again, and it looks like defender2222 is at it once more, this time with a couple of questionable posts relating to the character Didi.
- Never Live It Down: While the parents have had some really dumb moments The Big Showdown is one that will haunt the character of Didi forever. Pretty much the entire fandom hates Didi for her cruel actions and this episode tends to be the one people point to when declaring she is one of the worst mothers on tv.
- Ron the Death Eater: Didi also tends to get this in the fandom. Thanks to her worshiping of Lipschitz and her hatred for Reptar (one of the most popular characters on the show) it isn't uncommon for fanfics to portray Didi has a horrible wife and mother, abusive, or just plain moronic.
Admittedly, I don't really participate in Rugrats fandom stuff all that much, but is hatred of her really as universal as these entries are making it out to be? I do kinda remember the episode mentioned in NLID, but if anything, it may be a case of Depending on the Writer. And while I understand Didi's actions in that episode were less than reasonable, is it really that common in the fandom to bash her, or is the editor projecting their own dislike onto the page?
(And because of the unclear wording, I'm not sure if the one point on the NLID entry is saying "The fandom hates Didi's actions in this episode" or "The fandom hates Didi, period".)
"Take me down to the retro city where the carts are clean and the sprites are pretty." -A Youtube userI do know that Didi regularly gets mocked for being a neglectful parent but I don't know if she's really hated that much, nor do I know if is this particular episode has her receive more hate than usual. I think the RTDE entry could be valid because it's common for people to depict her as a neglectful parent in at least jokes.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I've got the following Troubled Production entry for Trivia.RWBY, which seems to be a mess of issues, including complaining. I think some of it needs to be removed, but most of it can just be rewritten.
- Troubled Production:
- Volume 1 started off on the wrong foot as Miles and Kerry were very inexperienced in scriptwriting, leading them to focus on the wrong pieces of lore and have episodes focusing on characters the fandom didn't like (the "Jaundice" two-parter focusing on Jaune). As well, Miles and Kerry allowing Monty carte blanche on action scenes meant that things didn't make sense on-screen (such as a fight against Grimm that both Ruby and Jaune decided was too risky suddenly being an easy fight) and ruining Penny's Robotic Reveal.
- This seems to just be fans complaining about things they didn't like. The production wasn't troubled, fans just didn't like some of the results. Remove.
- Volume 3's production was delayed by two months after Monty Oum Died During Production, preventing the first episode from being premiered at RTX 2015 as planned. Poser's antiquated software also made animation difficult; it would frequently crash and take hours to render the larger, more complex scenes of the volume. This, along with Poser requiring each new animator to be specifically trained in it, led Rooster Teeth to move to Maya starting from Volume 4. Reports indicate that the finale was only finished with hours to spare.
- The real point here is that the show was made from scratch in an obsolete engine (Poser) that only the creator was an expert with. His death led to Volume 3 being delayed by two months and a decision to upgrade Poser to Maya for Volume 4, which added production complexity to Volume 4 due to adapting everything to a new engine. Rewrite.
- Volume 5's Battle of Haven also had a rushed development, going from storyboards to full animation within a month- an insanely fast turnabout time and one that shows on the finished product. Co-director Gray Haddock also left production midway through the season to begin working on gen:LOCK, leaving Kerry Shawcross to handle the back half himself (this wasn't helped by the Volume 5 scripts undergoing massive cuts and drafts, leading to them only being finished after the season had begun airing in October). According to several CRWBY members, they weren't happy with the final product. Not helping things in this matter was that they had opted to create three shorts with Weiss, Blake and Yang to hype the season, which cut into both time and money as two of the shorts had big fight scenes.
- This is a complete mess of an entry. From what I've seen CRWBY say is that Volume 5 had severe budget and time constraints due to spending too much time on the three shorts and gen:LOCK consuming their resources. That's all the entry really needs to be. Rewrite.
- Volume 8 struggled with the pandemic; the first half of the volume was able to air on time by having a seven week mid-season break before resuming. A week after the second half resumed airing, production had to be delayed by a further week due to power shortages in Texas caused by a severe snow storm. The Volume 8 soundtrack's release date was then delayed due to health issues in the lead composer's family.
- Word cruft. Rewrite.
- Troubled Production:
- Volume 3's production was delayed by two months after Monty Oum Died During Production, preventing the first episode from being premiered at RTX 2015 as planned. This also had a knock-on effect to the production of Volume 4 as he was the team's expert in the obsolete Poser software the show had been created in. The decision to upgrade to the more mainstream Maya therefore made Volume 4's production timeline very tight, with the finale only being finished with hours to spare.
- Volume 5's production suffered from severe budget and time constraints; resource was overused to create three character shorts to hype the volume, while the Season 1 production of gen:LOCK consumed most of the department's resources, further constraining Volume 5's production. A combination of staff and fan dissatisfaction led to CRWBY rethinking their approach for future volumes.
- During the pandemic, the first half of Volume 8 aired on time by taking a seven week mid-season break to complete the second half. The second half then experienced further delay due to weather-related power shortages in Texas. The Volume 8 soundtrack was then delayed by a family emergency.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.~Delibirda: Try a VPN. They let you "change location" by swapping servers, so you can watch another country's Netflix and get MLP:FIM.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall@Rugrats: Yeah this is just the editor complaining about Didi. The Never Live It Down section doesn't even explain what Didi does to never live down to begin with. For the synopsis of "The Big Showdown", she tried to get rid of Reptar due to a misguided belief that Reptar had scared Dil in the middle of the night and tried to replace him with Goober, despite it being clear Tommy did not like the change. What drives the dislike towards her home is her not reacting badly when the Goober mascot acts rudely and takes away Tommy's Reptar, making him cry. But it should be noted that she realizes she was wrong at the toy fair after the Goober and Reptar mascots fight and the Reptar actor saves Tommy, so most of her actions is more close to Idiot Plot, especially since she never does something like this again. Hated in this episode, yes, but the entire franchise? That's kind of exaggerating as it was only the one episode where she did that.
As for Ron the Death Eater, her big dislike for Reptar was only in that episode, as other episodes, and Rugrats in Paris, shows her attending Reptar related events and amusement parks with little to no complaints.
I've been thinking about adding Ralph Breaks the Internet to the complaining sandbox, because originally it got sort of mixed reception from Disney fans, but after Schaffrillas Productions did his video on it, now it's considered one of the worst Disney films by many online critics.
I also think some of the Disneytoon Studios sequels' pages should be looked at, especially The Hunchback of Notre Dame II and Mulan II.

Somebody tried to force Ralph Breaks the Internet onto SBIH so yeah, it's worth putting there to be safe.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.![]()

Ralph is already there, and DisneyToon has an entry under Creators.

Under Scootaloo in Woobie. My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic:
The other parts of her Woobie entry on the page covers the disability, so I worry if this is complaining about the work over it's handling of it. Or does Woobie allow such unintentionals to be considered?
I asked Woobie Cleanup
and ATT
but got nothing. Thoughts?
