Inspired by this thread
, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

What An Idiot feels like Idiot Ball but more complainy to me. I wouldn't miss it.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
I'm working on a wick-check that, in part, exists to find overlap. It's at Idiot Ball Wick Check. Join in if you want.
I guess that makes sense. Anyway could I get some opinions on The Prayer Warriors.
From NeverTrustATrailer.Live Action Films:
- Revenge of the Sith had a trailer that showed shots of Darth Vader in his iconic costume, and showed what appeared to be various characters reacting to it (R2-D2 beeping wildly, Padme looking nervous, etc.). The trailer made many audiences think that the costumed Vader would have a large role in the movie itself. In fact, Anakin doesn't get armored up as Vader until the last few minutes of the movie; he interacts with none of the other characters except for Palpatine, and rather than being menacing, Vader shouts a wimpy "Noooo!" that quickly went into Internet meme history as one of the most laughable moments in film. (Many audiences laughed at this scene even in the theatre.) There perhaps has never been a greater gulf between what a trailer promised and what the movie actually delivered.
The latter part of the entry is rather complainy.
Hmm, I dunno. The fact that "armored Vader" not only barely shows up, but is less than menacing when he does, does seem like a relevant part of how the trailer misled people. But on the other hand, I do feel like that goes way overboard in complaining about it.
The last sentence can definitely be cut.

I think it's fine up to "he interacts with none of the other characters except for Palpatine." The "wimpy NO" thing can be cut or reworded to something like "he doesn't pose much of a threat in the story."
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Agreed with nrjxll, the last sentence can go.
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallYeah, that last sentence can go.
Apparently, my concerns about complaining on Fanfiction pages and The Prayer Warriors will be ignored forever.
We've answered your issues with Fanfiction pages both on ATT and in this thread — specifically that it's not just Fanfiction pages with this problem. As for the specific page, I'm not familiar with the fic, I'd have to take a closer look myself. You can probably go with your gut though.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I do still feel people don't get the idea of how much of a problem complaining is on fanfic pages and I was trying to demonstrate that through The Prayer Warriors I mean yeah I probably could do a cleanup but it will be ready tricky.

There is plenty of complainin and negativity in this one.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.I still don't see an argument for why fanfic pages are any worse off than other pages. In fact, other pages tend to attract more mainstream attention so I'd argue they attract more complaining than fanfics, which tend to be more niche.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. You're trying to prove that fanfic pages receive more complaining than any other page by focusing on a single work page?
I mean, I'd gladly help you clean up that page if I had the time, but you seem narrowly focused on that one page as if it's worse than all the other pages on the wiki.
Also apparently this particular series is a Troll Fic so I assume it's supposed to attract Bile Fascination.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Uh WarpThatAesop.Web Original is pretty bad, even by Darth Wiki standards. Take for example the Mr. Enter section (and I don't even like him, mind you):
- The Mysterious Mr. Enter:
- Cartoons are Serious Business.
- Cartoons must be as stale and inoffensive or sickening sweet and tear-jerking as possible. If one person acts like a jerk, then "Worst. Series. Ever!" Everything should just pander to the mainstream.
- Cartoons should be deep, meaningful and teach important life lessons. Any show's formula focusing chiefly on comedy deserve to be hated.
- People who review cartoons on the internet are always right and should be worshiped.
- The "Homer Badman" review: All rape accusations against celebrities are false; rape accusers are just petty opportunists and accused celebrities are innocent victims Convicted by Public Opinion.
- Using blatant straw man arguments to vilify and generalize your political opponents is wrong... but only if you're a liberal. Center-right libertarians, on the other hand, are allowed to do so all they want!
- All liberals are hysterical extremists or self-serving hypocrites comparable to literal hate groups. Right-wing extremists either don't exist or aren't worth talking about.
- Comedy shows are never allowed to tackle serious topics. Either you're a comedy show or you're not, and must remain in that field at all times, no matter how one-note and repetitive it'll get.
- Don't ever experiment with different ideas or expand your creativity. Why? Because an angry man not working in the cartoon industry said so, and he obviously knows best what everyone else wants.
The problem is a lot of that page isn't distorting fictional stories with aesops, but distorting the opinions of other people. And not in a way that sounds playful. If nothing else, the bit about his political beliefs should go and I say that even though I kind of agree with the basic criticism.

That is a bit weird much like My Immortal nobody knows for sure if it is a Troll Fic though many suspect it is.

It honestly doesn't look that bad unless I'm missing something.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."- Angst? What Angst?: Many people were wondering how Lucas would react to finding out that spiders normally eat flies after meeting Bzzt. When told to his face, he doesn't seem to care that much, only being mildly grossed out.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The moth that was first teased as a pupa in "What is This?" could have made a great mature adult to play off of Lucas and Bzzt's childishness, thus fixing the Tastes Like Diabetes problem that some people have with the series. The moth has absolutely zero dialogue in the next episode, and disappears completely in the episode following that.
Ok Ok. It wasnt that bad. I admit it.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.Oh. Nevermind then. Sorry for the interruption.
EDIT: I will however explain what I felt was wrong. The page seems to dislike the preschool show not being aimed at adults. But it seems its just me reading too much into things.

As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.

Decided to take a look through The Prayer Warriors to analyze the sheer volume of complaining. The problem with this fic is that it is so bad that a lot of these are talking about genuine problems people have with the story, so I need some more opinions.
These are just a few.
