The only major thing I've been able to find for Axa on the net is this page from the Mutant Future Wiki
, since post-apocalyptic stuff in general is of interest to people who play and run Mutant Future.

I don't know if anyone here has heard of AXA. It doesn't seem to be well known. In fact, Google tends to bring the Axa insurance company first before bringing up this comic!
If you find pictures of this comic, the first thing that will go through your head will probably be "Red Sonja (R.S.) wannabe," or "Red Sonja imitator". But from what I've found, while it's true that AXA has some barbarian elements in there and the title character herself seems like a blonde-haired, blue-eyed version of R.S., it actually sets itself apart from R.S.
There's also Science Fiction put into the story, and a lot of Fanservice thrown in there, with AXA going around buck naked a number of times and her breasts being shown clearly. This is an example of Values Dissonance, where European comics are not afraid to display female breasts, while North American comics couldn't show female breasts without having "pornography" labelled on it.
By the way, this comic, as well as Modesty Blaise, were done by {{Enrique Badía Romero}}. It might also interest you to know that AXA has been adapted into a mobile phone video game!
