Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!

I think it's either a love or hate thing with her.

The last part of her route in S is a dealbreaker for most and I can see why. I had to take a break before I could make it through the rest of both her branching routes. Even then, I kinda didn't care for the continued stories for both. She IS the reason I picked up the series though. I saw a picture of her and ended up picking the original game, the rest is history.

Her After route in S where she takes the lead really is good though! It makes you feel really happy for what's going on in her family's life. The conflict was also there, but resolved believably. And for once, the H-scenes weren't ruined by rape-y Yamato.

Her other After route kinda has, no plot whatsoever.

I actually just don't like how she makes Yamato seem like a moron. Her combat performance is also way better than it has any right to be. It's like the writers got together and wanted to design Yamato with boobs, but also he can fight and he's a ninja and he always gets his way. If the Yamato takes the lead route had been better I might not have minded, but it was pretty token and finished in about five minutes.

Well, at least I can see why people like her. Rinchuu is the one that confuses me. No idea why so many people love her.

I can see where you're coming from, though, there's one scene in the route where she takes the lead where Yamato asserts himself pretty firmly. It's a nice touch and shows that a glint of "Tactician" Yamato still exists beneath the thick horndog exterior he manages to coat himself in once he manages to get a girlfriend. I will admit some of the Tsubame After route scenes are uncomforta bly odd (Yamato's nipples and Tsubame's obsession with them) but past that it's a cute little route.

I might be biased considering I went into the series expecting the older girl dynamic to play more of a role and got something else instead. Tsubame's was something different for me.

I do not get Rinchuu either. Throughout Koyuki's route she just shows up to be cute and hint at her obsession with protecting people. I don't like the Chinese girls either. I don't think I could bear a whole route of just them and their unfunny character gags.

Good character design?

Well, she's cute and her outfit is interesting at least, but she has so little screentime that it baffles me that she reached #3 on the last popularity poll. Only Tsubame and Margit did better.

It baffles me that Margit did so well, but there you go.

Kind of weird, yeah, but at least she has a lot of screentime. And I'm not as inclined to find it weird since I like her myself.

Of course, that poll did have issues. You could vote for three different characters once a day for about a month, maybe more, and no male characters were on the poll.

I can at least be grateful that Youshi didn't do well, I suppose.

That sucks, because Yamato is one of my favourite characters. But yeah, strange voting system. Seems more like click bait. On the other hand, I prefer polls where you can vote for multiple characters, as that's more fair to the secondary favourites.

Well, I suppose it might have been research for them to find out which of the heroines they've written are the most popular.

The main heroines actually didn't do that well. Only Wanko made it to top five and only she and Momoyo made it to top ten, maybe? Wanko almost lost to Lee of all people, too.

I'm not really fond of Miyako myself.

I like the rest of the original heroines well enough though. Momoyo and Mayucchi especially.

Might have something to do with her being a creepy rapist stalker.

I'm moving onto either of the maids now. Who has the better route among the two?

Also, I downloaded a clear save data file for S so I can save the main heroine after routes for last. Hopefully I won't be disappointed.

Probably Stacy. Lee's isn't that interesting apart from an intentionally ridiculous tournament.

Am I the only one here that doesn like Tsubame at all? I mean, It just doesn feel right that she gets to be the new main heroine withouth much effort,I could go on about why I dislike her, but that could be just a big rant :p

I'm assuming you haven't read anything in the thread? Because on the same page I was just talking about how I don't like her and probably a few pages back there was also a discussion about how we didn't like her.

EDIT: I see. well, this may be childish of me, but I dont like her simply because I cant see anyone else as the main heroine besides Momoyo, and the fact that she easily took that spotlight withouth much effort irritates me.... and im not even a Momo fan

I still have to read her after in A-3... but is even someone translating the fandisks?
