Long story short:
Lala chap.Darling's at the hospital, but the doctors aren't releasing him cause "He should've survived that"
Stuff happens,Lala bonds with a little Ill Girl, talks with Darling about death, since the kid's terminal,so she turns her into a zombie.Yeah.
As someone in the /a/ thread pointed out: no one specified whose house.
Anyway, shit, things got dark all of a sudden. I'm sure Yuhi will be advised by the extraspecies committee on this and her house converted to how she needs it, but still.

It's been fun.Seems like Smith's not angry, and while I can't find the last page in that thread right now, she doesn't want to punish Zombina alone. She's not treating it like she considers it something that MON did.
Okayado may not take it in this direction, but this may also protect MON from any humans with bones to pick about what might very well become an international incident.
It's been fun.If you think it's too dark, keep in mind that a fellow mangaka died at about Okayado's age not too long ago, this could be his way to deal with his feelings in a sense.
I'm not sure what repercussions this chapter could have, but it opens a huge ethical can of worms... Anyway I hope that it will shed more light on how zombies get created and operate in this setting.
Anyone find ironic that Lala wanted to let the little girl experience life and instead condemned her to never change and go beyond her child status? Unless they, I dunno, put her head on Zombina's body or something? (Eh, I'm reading too much Franken Fran)
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.The biggest problem here is what they're going to do about an investigation. MON can't be held; there shouldn't be any evidence pointing to them doing it because they have no reason to, presumably have alibis, and also they didn't do it. If Smith fudges the investigation for Lala's sake and she gets found out, she could lose her job. And if Lala gets found out, she's getting deported at least.
Long story short, this is A Big Deal.
It's been fun.OK, I am seriously getting tired of Okayado exaggerating the birdbrain stereotype for harpies. There is such a thing as Clever Crows and The Owl-Knowing One, you know.
That said... What's with the whole "forget after 3 steps" thing, anyway? Where did it come from? I only remember seeing it mentioned when Papi's mom arrived, never before then.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.None of the descriptions actually mention anything related to their intelligence, memory, or attention spans. So it seems they're all more or less equal in that department.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. An owl harpy could be fun. Glasses and presented like a scary smart girl but she's duuh. Also will not get out of bed before evening and if you like your face you will respect that.
A crow harpy would probably act like Papi but be secretly brilliant and mostly use those smarts for shenanigans and getting her way.
And a penguin harpy would rob banks with umbrellas.
