A potential threat on my computer. It "removes" the threat but it keeps coming back. This is odd. I've never seen anything like this.

It happened to me once. As it turns out, It was Norton.

Have you tried using a serious antivirus on it?

[up] "serious" antivirus? MSE isn't good enough?

MSE is not a rogue; Win 7 is.

Some links to help you remove it:

http://www.freeremovalofspyware.org/remove-win7-security-2011 http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-win-7-home-security-2012 http://www.howtogeek.com/57837/how-to-remove-win-7-anti-spyware-2011-fake-anti-malware-infections/

All of the links point to Malwarebytes as the tool to help you remove it. Also, go download Fix NCR if Win 7 keeps interrupting your programs.

I'm surprised you're able to post here, actually. When my friend got it, she had to use workarounds because even browsers and system restore got blocked.

Now using Trivialis handle.

lol, I was talking about the Operating System. Windows 7 is the operating system on my computer.

I had to shorten it because the title space is so dang limited on here.

I saw "Win 7 is the rogue" and thought it was a joke in the vein of "remove AOL.EXE" or "Delete sys32"
