Yes to all those. Hell I've worked in an unheated scrapyard warehouse before when it was only 8 degree Fahrenheit.

18°C in temperature?

17°C?

16°C?

14°C?

You could at least convert it for those of us using the superior system.tongue

And the answer is yes. Have done. It's no mean feat.

Yup.

I'm more comfortable with cold than heat. I hate being hot.

Yeah. I'd get a bit annoyed if it dropped below 50, but anything over that is easy. And that's only if I have to sit still.

... I used to walk to school in -40 C.

Which is the same as -40 F.

Those temperatures you listed are not uncomfortable in the slightest.tongue

Sorry about that.

I meant indoor deskwork, seated at a desk.

Hm, well 64 degrees F isn't too bad for deskwork. I'd be fine with it.

I would. Might need a sweater for the lower range, but I'd be, well, cool with it.

A better question would be in the opposite direction.

Would you be comfortable doing deskwork in 76 degrees?

78?

80?

82?

84?

I know I wouldn't.

Anything above 65 is kind of warm, isn't it? I don't like indoor heating much, because it requires you to find somewhere to put your jacket.

^^65's a bit chilly. 68 or 70 is the "room temperature" you'll see cited in some scientific work.

I dont know. I am used to working and living in hot weather (around 50 C, or 150 for those using the inferior farenheit) but due to that I am also a bit sensitive to cold. Meaning I have never experienced below 0 temperatures. So, comfortable working in a 18 C environment? Probably yes. It might get a bit cold for my liking, but yes.

Yeah, I'd be better off with a cold environment than a hot one.

A cold room, you can put on a jacket. A hot one you can't do a damn thing about.

Am I exerting myself to a significant degree?

If not, am I allowed to wear something warm?

If so, sure.
