I read the early strips. A lot of it seems really spot-on to me. I was sort of disappointed when they made the setting (originally very explicitly the DC area) more generic to appeal to a national audience, though.

"Cul de Sac" is a comic strip about a 4 year old girl named Alice Otterloop and most of the point of view is through her eyes. It's similar in tone to "Calvin and Hobbes", because Alice very much sees the world differently from the grown-ups around her, and has a rich fantasy life, but it's less cynical.
The strip manages to be innocent and subversive at the same time, and very funny. It's also fairly new, just started in 2007, and it's not available in every newspaper yet. Anyone else reading it?
