NO.
Snakeweed was a plant.
But yeah, there has been a complaint that it was a slow game of "who'll get mutated next" among the human cast, even if some characters were actually cooler as humans. Of course, there were still some unmuted humans, mostly minor characters - Casey, Hun, Purple Dragons, mobsters, that detective that hung out with Mutanimals, Renet, Shinigami...
I admit I didn't like Tiger Claw that much since I felt like the narrative tried too hard to hype him up as a major threat.
I don't think his somewhat inconsistent views on honor helped.
"Yeah, all the handwringing about Seth Rogen's involvement is kind of embarrassing. He's not writing or directing the project at all, and he's hardly the only producer."
Pissed off, people have every right to be cautious after Sausage Party

After Sausage Party, I don't really trust Rogen, but I also don't know enough how involved he is either. Which I'm guessing is a lot since everyone is calling it "Seth Rogen's TMNT".
Fishface & Tiger Claw for me, but Etheru has a point about Tiger Claw. For a merc, I never understood why he was so loyal to Saki?
Off-topic: I will never understand why Sausage Party was so critically acclaimed. That was a massive step backward in how people perceived adult animation.
On-topic: As far I know, his TMNT is still going to have them be teenagers. I seriously doubt it'll happen, but I would legitimately be impressed if he & whoever else is on the project make the Turtles act like the kids in Strangers Things. Although, I suppose that would be just too gimmicky.
Maybe I'm using "critically acclaimed" wrong, but there's a Critical Dissonance for the movie.
Yeah it largely boiled down to that. While for a while he didn't really care about honor that trait sorta comes back in the Season 2 finale for a moment where he tries to dissuade Saki from continuing to work with the Kraang because they don't care about the human race, to which Saki (kinda angrily) tells him "Nor do I".
And then there's the fact that in one timeline he's aghast that Shredder literally stabbed Splinter in the back during a truce, but then Shredder fails that specific assassination attempt with Splinter beating him within an inch of his life in another timeline and he's not aghast?
I don't remember the episode too well, but I recall 2012 TMNT's time logic is pretty straightforward (thank God) Tiger Claw should've still seen that Shredder tried to kill Splinter. It could be argued that Tiger Claw only saw the aftermath & easily put the 2 together in that timeline/outcome.
From what I remembered it doesn't change the fact that his character is inconsistent. It has been a while but I seriously find it very strange that he went from being a merc for hire to being head of his own Foot faction. I was never aware of 2012 TMNT's writer being constantly changed but Tiger Claw's character reinforces that problem. Still, I thought at least he was consistent enough in comparison to 2K3's Karai.
I saw Sausage Party recently. I thought it was funny.
What would you want to see from these films? A Rat King horror movie? A Krang sci-fi tale? If Shredder gets a movie, would he fight the TMNT (where he won't win and will not be a sympathetic lead) or would he fight a more vile villain like Mr. Null so he is more of a sympathetic main character?
I've always wondered if the Archie characters are under embargo since I rarely see its characters in other adaptations, though granted the Mighty Mutanimals name was used in the 2012 incarnation (though I don't think any of the groups' membership was, well, part of its membership in that show). Granted Man-Ray is in the IDW Comics, so...
I'm pretty sure Ninjara is unlikely to ever show up in any modern continuity though due to actually being owned by Stephen Murphy and Chris Allan, who created her for the Archie Comic but actually own her. I'm half-wondering if the 2012 Alopex was meant to be Ninjara before the crew found out Nickelodeon didn't own the character, so they used Alopex's name instead.
A Gender Flip version of Null showed up in the IDW comics. I assume they still have the rights. Conceptually Null is one of the most unsympathetic TMNT villains ever, if you want a character to be sympathetic fighting against a monster like Null helps.
I don't have much exposure to Old Hob but feel like he might be cool in an animated continuity if they decide not to make Yoshi Splinter again.
@Etheru: I dunno about that. We saw a version of Verminator X (renamed Rex) in 2012. Plus Null and Maligna (arguably the two most famous villains from Archie) showed up in IDW. Plus Maligna was combined with Dregg for 2012.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."

Did the 2012 show mutate everyone into an animal monster?
I liked Tiger Claw from what I've seen of him, a badass mercenary guy.
