Boy, I had wondered what new areas were Star Wars writers going to explore next, and I got my answer!

For those who don't read a lot of Star Wars books, what has usually been stated is that the Old Republic and the Jedi Order were created 25,000 years before A New Hope. Pretty vague, right?

Well, Dawn Of The Jedi is going to reveal how the Jedi Order started...before lightsabers, no less!

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!

I think I'm going to like it; I'm going through Legacy right now and I'm digging it (although Cade isn't my favorite character)

But it seems John did it again here what with dumping the coolest events into the backstory narrative in an "Issue Zero." Do comics really need source books?
