I was under the impression that they were 12-13 when I first saw the show, but occupation-wise, it makes sense for them to be college-aged. Either way, rec-ing fics that feature characters having sex from a show marketed towards little kids leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The unicorn ninja'd me.

No, the Mane Six all have either full time jobs or are doing the equivalent of college thesis work. I wouldn't call them 12-13.

I wouldn't want to read pony fanfiction like that myself, but I wouldn't call it under age either.

Seeing as I know nothing about ponies, (other than "So....awesome!!!!!!!), I'm going to trust Shima here.

Hey, remind me again: what do we do with recced explicit fanfics for series whose cast are all underage?

@ shima: Thanks. So Spike & Cutie Mark bunch are off-limits, but the rest are probably OK?

If they're set when the cast is under 16/16, delete them.

[up][up][up] Axe 'em. Not worth the trouble. My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic wouldn't fall into this category IIRC for reasons stated above (so long as Spike in his current form is not involved, nor the Cutie Mark Crusaders, which rules out ANY rec for the likes of Sweet Apple Massacre).

Spike, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara and other really young ponies are off limits. Others should be ok.

So we are going by their 'social' age rather than their literal chronological age then?

Well, seeing as their actual ages will likely never be revealed in the show itself, that's pretty much the best way to go about it.

They're ponies. A four-year-old horse and a four-year-old human are at completely different levels of maturity. Even if their chronological age were stated in canon (which it isn't), I can't imagine what we'd do with it.

Oh, my god. We are actually discussing what kind of explicit My Little Pony fanfics are acceptable to link to.

I should hate the internet right now, but I just can't make myself.

Well, with a big Internet Periphery Demographic like the one this show possess, you shouldn't be too surprised about this.

My issue is not that there is porn in the internet, but I just don't see why we, in particular, need to catalogue explicit fanfics, let alone eplicit fanfics involving animated animals.

[up][up]We're not even discussing pages for them, we're discussing fanfic recs, and saying that stuff like "You like MLP:FiM? then you'll love "Party Inside Pinky" [if this is the actual title of a fanfic don't tell me.] in which the Mane Six[?] gang-rape Pinkie Pie! It's really well-written, and totally not just wank-material!" is a little fucking creepy, and shouldn't be on here.

[up][up] That is quite specifically the kind of fanfic rec we're getting rid of. Not the content, but the explicit detail.

Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.
