Co-GM: Simply David
Rules:
- This should probably go without saying, but no godmodding.
- Once at least three evil master and servant slots have been filled, mages that aren't masters can be claimed.
- For now, there is a limit of four characters per player. Five for GMs.
- If two people have already made servants (or masters as the case may be) from a particular legend/historical period, I would prefer if we could leave it at that.
- If you post a master or servant character, please make sure you’ll be willing and able to post frequently.
- I'd like for there to be a degree of challenge involved in the fights in this RP, so if your character is Nigh-Invulnerable, they most likely won't fit in well. This means characters like Achilles, Heracles and Siegfried are likely to be rejected.
Anyway, without further ado, here are the character sheets.

Burn up, hurricane of justice! The obliged Apocrypha Servant
- True Name: Frankenstein's Monster
- Class: Berserker
- Alignment: Good/Neutral
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: She's rather pretty, wouldn't you say?
◊
- Personality: While generally kind in nature, she is normally slow to respond in interpersonal interaction. She exhibits surprising agility and toughness in combat, and in Berserk Mode, she executes commands with extreme faithfulness. Due to a lack of skill in expression, and fearful of her own monstrous nature, she maintains a shy silence that conceals her high intelligence and empathetic capabilities (except for the emotion of sorrow). Extremely mindful of energy conservation; if her Master leaves the lights on in the bathroom after use, she will turn it off for them. She is scared of fire.
- Stats (Before any boosts):
- N. Phantasm: C
- Strength: C
- Agility: D
- Mana: D
- Luck: B
- Endurance: B
- Class Skills:
- Mad Enhancement: B (Only activates when the master chooses it, ranks up all parameters)
- Skills:
- Scream of Terror: The Servant is capable of emitting an immense scream, temporarily robbing enemies and allies alike of their ability to think and respond; those who do not expect it or are incapable of the mental resilience to withstand it may temporarily lose their ability to breathe. The effectiveness of the skill is increased with activation of Mad Enhancement. Incidentally, in Berserk Mode, the Servant expresses approval with the phrase "Yaaa," and disapproval with the phrase "Uiii," but it is impossible to discern anything but madness.
- Galvanism: Unrestricted conversion and accumulation of prana and bio-electric energy. Thaumaturgical attacks involving no material existence — wind manipulation, energy bullets, beam attacks — are converted to electricity and rendered without effect, discharged into the environment. Absorbed electricity may be used to implement rapid self-repair and physical attribute reinforcement. Like Phlogiston and Ether, the concept of Galvinism, which explains organic activity as bio-electric process, falls under the domain of Alchemy.
- Instinct: A The power to "feel" the most favorable developments for oneself during battle. Refined sixth sense is now close to true precognition. Bonus effect of reducing by half the penalties caused by obstructed vision and hearing. For Frankenstein's Monster, this is how she is able to combat so easily despite otherwise having slow reaction speeds
- Noble Phantasm:
- Name: Bridal Chest: A Maiden's Chastity
- Type: Anti-Unit
- Rank: B
- What it does: A large mace used by the Servant as a striking weapon, which gives off discharges electricity with the appearance of tree branches. In reality, the Servant's reactor core / heart is contained within the large spherical bulb, and the fin on the opposite end remotely transfers energy to the Servant's main body. With high efficiency, the implement continuously gathers energy wasted by the Servant or present in her surroundings, and is constantly manifested outside of combat to power her. If exposed to a high-prana environment — for example, in the midst of combat — the function of Galvinism and the Bridal Chest combine to qualify the Noble Phantasm as a "Type II Perpetual Motion Engine."
- Name: Blasted Tree: The Lightning Tree of Crucifixion
- Type: Anti-Unit / Anti-Army
- Rank: E~A+
- What it does: Use of the Bridal Chest in a suicide move — the fin of the mace is planted into the ground, and the reactor's limiters are completely released, discharging all gathered electricity into the surrounding environment as an area of effect attack with target homing; momentarily giving the Noble Phantasm in the silhouette of a towering tree. May be implemented from the Servant's own body rather than the Bridal Chest if the enemy force is a single opponent within short range. Use of this technique results in permanent deactivation, but there is a low probability that a second Frankenstein's Monster will be materialized in the wake of the attack. However, in death, it would be impossible for the Servant to witness the results of her actions.
And my good Master:
- Name: Chikamatsu Kamiko (Surname first) (Miko for short)
- Age: 24 (looks around 12, acts around 8-9)
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: The greatest Eye Color is two eye colors~
- Occupation: Magus
- Personality: Kamiko's very playful and energetic, in spite of everything. She enjoys eating, and enjoys playing games with her tutor. She adds -Chan to everyone's name.
- Bio: Before even being born, her destiny was being decided for her. Her parents come from a prestigious lineage, with a Magic Crest that has been passed down for over 30 generations. With so much experience, it would be the strongest crest in the world. However, it was damaged and is lacking a large portion of its older power. However, despite this it managed to keep in it all knowledge of human anatomy gained through magic and science.
When she was conceived, it was for the purpose of being the ultimate experiment. She was to become such a powerful magus through pure artificially gained means that she would be the best among the masters. Whilst it was no competition they wanted bragging rights, despite having an ancestor who participated in the original war.
And so at the age of four she underwent surgery to replace her right eye. It was to work well with her Element, Wind, and complement Kinetic Control. The goal originally was to see if they even COULD make up a new Mystic Eye. As it was a success, they decided to give her a new element through the changing of her Kidney. After cutting it out, they found that placing a Projected Kidney with the added element would not only not have the proper results, but it failed and disappeared due to instability of not actually existing.
To test where the mistake was, they decided to try something else entirely. One of the experiments on the list of many was an attempt at regenerative abilities. They decided to replace a piece of the liver with a magical substance that would expand the regenerative properties throughout the body. However, the substance failed. They weren't sure why at first, so they tried again in the same spot, because the substance had vanished. They changed one aspect of it, making this one a projected substance rather than the actual thing. However, this time it simply replaced the liver and had no other effect. So they realised that their magic would not stay in effect within the body for long, and especially projected objects. They lamented this mistake with the kidney, but it was too late.
So they knew what they were doing wrong, and went back to change her lungs instead. They performed a surgery involving cutting open and cutting out her original lungs and replacing them with Conceptual Lungs, which proved much proved far more successful than projected parts, though she is left with three unsightly scars due to these surgeries.
They replaced her other eye to compliment her other element. Just like before, the simply tore out her old eye and created one anew within her socket. Once finished being made, they connected it to her brain directly using a false magic circuit. This is what causes the effects to properly take place and be understood by her brain, despite not having magic eyes to begin with.
The surgeries to her body caused her to age more slowly physically, which is the reason for her young appearance. The combined surgeries and changes in her physiology all together caused her mind and hormones to not act properly, and so she mentally matures even more slowly than physically.
Her tutor in magecraft was not a big part of her life until after these surgeries were considered finished. She was decent enough, and actually played games with her. Kamiko loves her tutor, and does not hate her parents.
They transferred the Family Crest to her (which is itself yet another painful process) and so she has the knowledge of surgery and Human Anatomy passed down, including how to do what was done to her. With the knowledge of making conceptual Body Parts in hand, she was to do the same to her child, except she was to see how far it could expand. This is her future.
But first, she is to defeat the monsters as a master if she is to even see this future. - Element: Wind, Ether (Ether was granted by an Experiment replacing her Lungs)
- Powers: Her family having a long history of magic and power, she was born specifically for the purpose of possibly empowering the family for future generation. The experiments performed on her were mostly successes, and the one failure in replacing the kidney could be overlook because she can survive it.
Due to the unstable nature that her body might have ended up having, they taught her how to use Alchemy. Or rather, they had her tutor teach her. She has multiple spells and abilities related to empowering, healing, and weakening the body of herself and others. Using alchemy and shards of broken human souls, she can create Golems made from clay of the earth. The size, strength, shape, and use that they bring is entirely up to her and the amount of prana placed in it, as well as the strength of the soul used to control it.
Like almost all magi, she has been taught to use animals as familiars if necessary.
However, before that, at a very young age the experiments she was subjected to left her with a set of very unique abilities. Both of her eyes were surgically removed and replaced with artificial eyes, and her lungs were replaced with Conceptual Lungs.
Her blue eye is artificially imitated Pure Eyes of Prana and Circuit Detection, and allows her to see Prana itself, such as how much a person has and how many circuits they have, how much is in an area, and how it is flowing as long as it stays within her sight.
Her red eye is an artificially created effect all it's own, imitating Telekinesis while reducing the effort necessary on the caster. Named "Mystic Eye of Force". It specifically can only push or pull away from the caster, and only what is in her line of sight. It requires a great deal more effort to effect things past a certain weight, making Humans hard to effect, and cars completely impossible, for some examples.
Her lungs are made of a conceptual magical existence, and therefore she instead breathes Ether rather than breathing Oxygen. This means that her mana supply can be replenished nearly endlessly. Rather than simply absorbing all the mana, she recycles it through breathing, meaning that when she breathes out it replenishes the natural prana in the area. However, it leaves marks that some people might be able to track.
If she is in an area completely deprived of mana in the air, she will suffocate, and similarly will have trouble breathing in an area with little prana.

Token Loli!Expressing interest in a Master—is it alright if I play only one character?
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlName: Yuna Solei
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Appearance: Here she is.
◊
Personality: Relatively quiet, Yuna believes in justice above all else and will fight to protect it. Her Element is ice and her exterior appears to match but in reality she is a very kind person, just a bit standoffish. She doesn't have many close friends because of this, though, and wishes for one she can confide in.
Abilities: She has a slightly-above-average level of power and Magic Circuits and is very, very skilled in using her chosen Element. Yuna can instantly materialize ice in the air and use it in almost any way—platforms, shields, spikes. She has trained extensively to be able to use ice as a form of transportation; if she needs to move quickly she can create a thin layer and slide on it, and is also good at tripping other people up by forming ice under their feet. Theoretically, she could freeze the water in something's blood, but she has never actually tried this due to her personality. She is very fast but not very physically strong, creating ice barriers as opposed to blocking attacks. If she were placed in an area where materializing ice would be difficult, she would be at a severe disadvantage, but most places have enough inherent water in the air that this is not a problem, and she usually carries several bottles of water with her.
Bio: Yuna was trained from a very young age in using her Element, which is mostly why she is so proficient with it. The training led to her personality shift, as well: she spent so much time training that she wasn't in any real circles of friends when she finally did go to school. She is relatively skilled in magecraft but rather naive in general, being rather sheltered.
Assets: Lots and lots of water and the ability to make more by melting ice. Useful for expeditions.

Sounds good.
![]()
Oddly enough, the only worry me and Tachi seem to have is that she might be a tad underpowered. XD She's accepted.
Okay, thanks. Hmm, I'll see what I can do about powering her up a bit..changes to character sheet are possibly pending.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlClass: Saber
True Name: El Cid
Sex: Male
Alignment: Lawful Good
Appearance: A tall, handsome, muscular man with short black hair and a well groomed beard. He wears a suit of scale mail and carries two swords. One of them is very large and would likely be a two-handed sword for most warriors.
Personality: A brave and honorable warrior, El Cid will never betray someone to whom he has sworn an oath of loyalty. He would gladly give up his life to protect his Master, and is loathe to resort to tricks such as sneak attacks.
Stats:
Strength: A
Endurance: B
Agility: B
Magical Energy: B
Luck: D
Noble Phantasm (Rank): A
Class Skills: Riding: B. Allows El Cid to ride horses, though not creatures of demonic beast or holy beast rank. Also allows him to operate vehicles.
Magic Resistance: B. Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for him to be affected.
Skills:
Bravery: B. Allows El Cid to ignore the effects of mental interferences such as pressure, confusion, and fascination. Also grants a slight increase in melee damage.
Charisma: C+. Natural talent to command an army. Increases the ability of allies during group battles. A rare talent. This rank is suitable for a king's most favored champion.
Noble Phantasms: Tizona - Blazing Firebrand of Terror
Type: Anti-personnel
Rank: A
A massive sword whose power depends on the character of the wielder. In the hands of a brave warrior such as El Cid, its mere presence can induce fear in unworthy foes. By invoking its name, El Cid can cause it to burn with an intense heat. This heat will not harm the wielder or his allies, but is devastating to foes
Colada – Piercing Blade of Purity
Type: Anti-personnel
Rank: B
A smaller sword whose power is again affected by the character of the wielder. El Cid primarily uses it for parrying, but it is also capable of making precise strikes. By invoking its name, El Cid can make an armor-piercing strike. This strike will not cause physical harm to a living being, but any non-magical armor or shield struck by it will be destroyed instantly. Magical armor, such as anything worn by a Heroic Spirit, will be suffer damage depending on its strength and the strength of the blow.
He can summon his horse Babieca by invoking his name. This consumes about 3/4 as much energy as invoking Tizona.

Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead.Ack, I'm really sorry. Someone claimed Rider too and I forgot to put it in that post. >.<
Um, I'm not familiar with El Cid's legend, but based on what I'm seeing in his profile, perhaps you could change him to Saber? The only changes that would need to happen are a slight decrease to Riding (B? B+?), the addition of Magic Resistance and maybe increasing Agility and Mana to B.

Burn up, hurricane of justice!Great, really sorry about that. Thanks for understanding. Approved!
One question though, how does he summon Babieca? Oh, and you forgot to change the class in that profile.

Burn up, hurricane of justice!A note for people who are interested. Seems only the good master positions and the Good Assassin position are all that's left currently before the evil positions are unlocked.
Regarding Assassin. Unlike in a Grail War, this isn't limited to Hassan-i-Sabbah. Therefore, you can claim anyone who fits the criteria of "Assassin" which is basically, someone who managed to get away with murder/assassinations and got away with it. The best people are those who were never found out, so characters in history who are only rumored, or murderers with nicknames (Like Jack the Ripper, for example) are good options. Also people who aren't quite Assassin class material can fit in loosely.
One other note is that you can have a different class replace that position, for example one that I've seen that's good is "Brawler", a class built for someone famous for hand to hand combat, for example martial artists. But please, no Avengers, Savers, or Rulers, thank you.
Token Loli!- Class: Lancer
- True Name: Astolfo
- Sex: Male
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Appearance: Hi!~
◊
- Personality: Astolfo is a fun loving and light hearted person but he is also a frightfully unparalleled blabbermouth, prone to speaking on and on until those involved lose all rationality. His conversations, through no ill intent on his part, have a way of meandering toward maximum social awkwardness. His hobby of adventuring gets himself mixed up in an assorted amount of mischief due to him constantly popping up everywhere.
- Stats:
- Strength: B
- Endurance: C
- Agility: A
- Magical Energy: D
- Luck: A
- Noble Phantasm (Rank): B
- La Black Luna (Lunatic Moon): The Magic Flute That Calls Panic (C) (Anti-Army): A horn that strikes fear into the hearts of all who hear its sound, prompting instinctive escape. Does not affect Heroic Spirits with magical resistance, but normal mages are not immune to its influence. Normally a small horn that hangs from the Servant's belt, it increases in size when activated, becoming large enough to enclose the Servant. Given to the Servant by the good witch Logestila of Avalon as a means to remove a large flock of harpies.
- La Lancia Oro (D) (Anti-Unit): A lance that has the ability to knock off any mounted being no matter what. Is a normal lance on any other type of enemy.
- Memories of the Moon Cell (E to A) (Anti-Unit): The two hair ribbons placed upon Astolfo's head are actually fragments of the Moon Cell from his expedition to the moon itself. Astolfo essentially can activate the fragments' true power to turn them into any Noble Phantasm that he has enough knowledge on, though they are decreased by one rank and only last the duration of the current battle.
- Class Skills:
- Magic Resistance B: Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for him to be affected.
- Battle Continuation A:A: Makes possible to fight even with deadly injuries and can remain alive so long as one does not receive a decisive fatal wound.
- Skills:
- Military Tactics C: Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.
- Prana Burst B: Increase of performance by impregnating one's weapons and body with magical energy and instantly expelling it. Simply put, recreating the effect of jet burst by expending large amounts of prana. A normal weapon that is not on the level of a divine mystery can be destroyed in one blow. Raises defense in several times.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Sounds good. When do we start? Once we have all the good/evil people?

Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.html
Yeah, we at the least need all the good characters, and we can start. Evil characters are able to show up late, though we would prefer a couple show up before we start at least. Not to mention the characters who are not servants or masters, heh.
Alright, I THINK I made all the changes. Also took out Babieca since he's summoned as Saber Babieca's back in, but with limitations so I don't step on Rider's toes

Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead.
I was thinking it might be ok to have the horse, but up to you on that.
There's only one spot allowed for the Mystic Eyes Of Death Perception. This is due to something said by Nasu, that two users cannot meet no matter what. Before anyone claims they're overpowered, I'd like to point out that on a character who lacks combat experience, or any skills with a blade, it ... isn't. Also doesn't work on servants.
- Name: Shiki Annaleigh
- Age: 18
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: Except she has a bright green left eye and a purple right eye.
When her Mystic Eyes of Death Perception are active, they look like this.
◊
- Personality: Very strong hearted. She will never quit on a friend and in fact is often loved for her kindness. She has trouble saying no and tends to find it hard to talk to attractive people.
However, she has a completely separate Split Personality that only comes out when she wants to kill someone, or if IT wants to kill someone. She is learning to hold it back as best she can. - Abilities: In addition to The Mystic Eyes of Death Perception
, she also has a few minor spells. Nothing really worth bragging about due to her lack of proper training. Her element is fire, and basically she can cause enough heat to create fires. She can also strengthen her knife enough that it won't break easily. It's an otherwise ordinary knife.
Physically she isn't impressive either, and has had only very last minute training with how to use that knife. They'd have had her use a sword but there wasn't enough time to properly train, and even her knife training was unsatisfactory. - Bio: She grew up in a relatively young Magus Family who couldn't afford to send her to the Clock Tower for training and would have trained her themselves. However, she had a near death accident that left her weak physically. She kept it hidden that this brought about the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.
One day she was found out, and the Association brought her to the Clock Tower for preperation as the final Master to be used in the fight against the monsters. She didn't want this, but in the end she WAS saving the world, and that was good right? - Assets: The Association has provided her with decent lodging in town until things get started, and a rather decent knife. Rather than giving her any special magical tools, they told her to rely on her eyes and her servant.

Token Loli!- Class: Caster
- True Name: Taketori Kaguya-hime
- Sex: Female
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Appearance: "Hello!"
- Personality: Kaguya has a brief air of refinement, which quickly shatters when you speak to her further. Kaguya is, in reality, rather lazy at times and prone to skittishness. At the same time, she is very sweet-natured and friendly to those who do not cause her to become nervous, and will often talk for hours in hopes that anyone present will be willing to listen. If she believes that her cause is worth it, she will cease to be lazy and will devote most of her energy and enthusiasm towards it. Kaguya-hime is afraid of men, and will avoid them when possible(unless they are an enemy servant, then she will fight them willingly).
- Stats:
- Strength: D
- Endurance: C
- Agility: D
- Magical Energy: A+
- Luck: A
- Noble Phantasm: C
- Class Skills:
- Item Construction: A+
- Territory Creation: A
- Mystic Face: C
- Skills:
- Hourai Immortality: A+++, Kaguya has taken three drinks from the Hourai Elixer. As such, she must be killed three times in order to truly die.
- Noble Phantasms:
- Ornament of the Moon Princess~Horai no Hoseki Eda(C): A branch decorated with five different kinds of beads, one red, one blue, one green, one yellow, one black, and one white. Each bead can fire a beam of magical energy capable of ripping through most natural materials. When directed, they can become a single damaging beam capable of ripping through sturdier materials.
- The Pacifist's Defense~Futsu no Ishi Donburi(B): The pacifistic energies endowed in this simple stone bowl that was once used by Buddha himself produce a barrier of astounding strength. The barrier is nigh impenetrable, though sufficient amounts of power may shatter it. She cannot move while it is in use.
- The Reverse Immolation~Kasai Nezumi no i(C): A dark robe that gives the wearer EX-rank resistance to fire. The wearer will also gain C-rank magic resistance.
- A Hatched Miracle~Tsubame no Koyasugai Kara(EX): Due to its miraculous nature as the shell of a cowrie hatched from a swallow's egg, the cowrie shell is able to cause a miracle. This miracle creates a battlefield identical to Kaguya's original home, the moon itself. Here, she can access the reality-warping ability known as Marble Phantasm. However, she can only use the Swallow's Cowrie Shell once, as it loses all power upon usage.
- Divine Light of the Moon Princess~Ryu no Kibo Hoseki(A+): This large, blue and white orb is in fact a huge jewel, taken from the neck of a dragon. It possesses tremendous magical power, which can be released in a massive beam of magical energy, fully capable of tearing apart anything in its way. However, must charge and it consumes a great deal of prana.
- Name: Adelinda Diederich
- Age: 100, though she looks to be about a tenth of that age
- Sex: Female
- Appearance: "Whimsical..."
- Personality: Adelinda is spoiled and slightly capricious, willing to do a lot of things just for fun. Though there are some lines she definitely won't cross, and she doesn't want to hurt anyone, she's not above abducting an acquaintance and locking them in the mansion with her for several hours, to play. Adelinda is also rather easily upset, and she's surprisingly lonely as well(since the only other people who live in her mansion are her maids). At the same time, Adelinda is also very confident and self-assured. She has no doubts that she and her servant will be able to defeat anything they come up against.
- Abilities: Your standard True Ancestor regeneration and such(weak due to young age), coupled with her Reality Marble.
- Reality Marble:
- Whimsical Blood Array: This reality marble takes the form of a vast, massive child's room, with a ceiling high enough that it vanishes out of sight. From the ceiling hangs a vast, slowly rotating mobile made of knives twisted into the shapes of stars and moons. The floor is littered with gravestones, but none of them are marked with a name. In addition, nearly everything is stained with blood. The target is bombarded by a massive amount of lasers made of directed blood. These do a high amount of damage. The blood lasers are the default, but Adelinda can also create nearly anything out of blood within Whimsical Blood Array.
- She also wields a large katana that she can summon and dispell at will.
- Reality Marble:
- Bio: Adelinda was born a hundred years ago, in Germany. As with most True Ancestors, she was asleep for many years of that time. However, she was moved to Japan and awakened forty years later, in order to be groomed for use as a master. Her mansion, and her three highly skilled maids/bodyguards, were given to her for such a purpose.
- Assets: A large mansion and three homunculus maids/bodyguards.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."- Class: Rider
- True Name: Beowulf
- Sex: Female. This is entirely unsurprising, isn't it?* The reason for the misconception is simple: androgyny leading to an androcentric society's assuming they must have been male.
- Alignment: Lawful Good
- Appearance: "It's good to be young again. I forgot how young I was when I killed Grendel, though..."
- Personality: Serious and devoted towards being a good ruler, though with a noted attraction towards various alcoholic drinks and getting drunk and starting to sing. The problem is that Rider has yet to take into account that they have been reverted to the age of their most well-known exploit, and despite acting like a ruler with a lifetime's worth of experience, they're still quite obviously too young to treat youths like children. This will undoubtedly cause problems.

Having never succeeded in killing when it was most needed despite never having failed before, Hrunting serves to do nothing more than provide an exceedingly sharp edge with which to cut things. Its main function is to seal Rider's other Noble Phantasms. Due to personal preference, she would rather not use them, despite her class, and so relies on Hrunting instead. Voluntarily surrendering Hrunting to their Master's care serves as indication they are willing to use their other Noble Phantasms.
- Grendel—Monster of the Swamp: D. Whilst exceedingly dangerous to normal people, he is both young and has little defensive power, and as such can be considered nothing more than a stumbling block for dangerous foes, unless used as a surprise. Nevertheless, it is necessary that he die before Rider's next Noble Phantasm can be used.
- Mother of the Beast: B.
◊ Attacks of C rank or less cannot harm her and she takes half damage from B-ranked attacks. She is also somewhat stronger than her progeny, though once injured she is easier to fell. She must be killed before Rider's final Noble Phantasm can be summoned.
- Great Dragon—Battle at Earnaness: EX. As a dragon that could overpower even a lone Beowulf and deal a mortal blow even supported, this is Rider's strongest Noble Phantasm and grants her the ability to ride such beasts. However, it is draining, despite the Dragon's nature reducing the actual required input, and cannot be used for a long period of time. It also bestows a nameless E-ranked sword upon her as a replacement for Hrunting.

A quick summary of this would be "monsters want to kill everyone, servants are summoned to fight them", there's more to it and I'd like if people would read the summary, but I understand that some people are put off by long plot summaries.
This story takes place in a world where the monsters that the heroes of old fought didn't so much die out as they did withdraw from the world. Either forced out by the heroes, called by a darker force or perhaps of their own will. No one can say for sure. After their exile, these monsters waited, biding their time, all the while humanity lost most of its need for dragon slayers, exorcists and the like.
Within the past century, these monsters have begun launching attacks, taking advantage of mankind’s lack of preparation for supernatural threats. It seems that roughly every 10 years a portal opens in the sky over a small Japanese town and a large number of dragons, demons, yokai and other assorted monsters pour out to attack humanity, aiming to take control of the world they were forced to leave.
The first time this happened, a lot of death and destruction occurred; after all, these things were straight out of the myths and legends that people dismissed as nonsense. However a handful of mages came forth to defend humanity. They tried to fight the monsters off, but over time, their bloodlines had weakened, and training in the ways of magic had begun to seem like an unnecessary task.
Realising they were not strong enough to fight off the hordes on their own, seven mages who had stayed away from the frontlines completed a ritual that allowed them to summon seven heroes from the past. After all, who better to fight the monsters of the past than the heroes that defeated them the first time around? With their help, the monsters were driven back.
The second encounter with them also ended disastrously, taking a cue from the mages that saved them the first time, fourteen mages attempted the ritual, hoping to destroy the monsters before they could do any damage. Again, seven managed to call forth heroes. The others however, ended up summoning darker beings. These spirits fit the description to a degree, being famous historical figures. But there wasn't an ounce of heroism in any of them, they were all villains, tyrants or monsters and simply summoning them ran the risk of corrupting the mages' souls.
These darker spirits seemed capable of fighting on par with the heroic spirits and many of them perished. A pair of the heroes, a blonde haired girl clad in armour and wielding a sword and a spear wielding man in blue survived and again, the attack was defeated.
Learning from this, future battles went much smoother. Although some unscrupulous or cowardly individuals that had hoped to make deals with the monsters, offering them aid in exchange for power in their new world...or perhaps just those that believed humanity no longer deserved to exist still summoned the dark servants.
By the time of the fourth war, the townsfolk had learned that there was a pattern to the attacks. They all took place during the same month and certainly seemed to be targetting their little town exclusively. There was a strange increase in prana in the area during the week leading up to the attacks, ironically this magic was what gave them the additional strength needed to summon the Servants. As such, the assaults were easily predicted and many of the town's non-magical inhabitants were evacuated. Nowadays, all of them are sent elsewhere, leaving just the masters, their servants and a small group of well trained mages to protect their home.
This time, no longer content to just defend, the people have prepared to strike back, using the enemy's own portal against them. They haven’t exactly been quiet with this, pre-emptive celebrations of the glorious victory to come have already begun, and the mages that intend on taking the fight to the enemy are lauded as heroes. Of course, those that would aid the monsters out of greed, idiocy or just sheer hatred for humanity plot ways to enter the portal, so they may be certain that these mages never return.
