Hrrrrm. Was there an old version of this? Or related?
A free form RPG in which at an unspecified point in the future, a group of researchers using some code salvaged from a by-that-time-defunct open source Deep Immersion Gaming project dubbed Open Field develop a virtual world populated with AI denizens that would be essentially indistinguishable from humans, if it weren't for the fact that the base player models in Open Field are all Funny Animals...

I was part of the original version of it. I was very fond of the idea and didn't like how it just...died. So during a walk I fleshed things out and after a year I decided I kind of wanted to actually get the thing up and running. To see if Open Field could live and be what I dreamed it was possible of being.
Played a spider monkey named Theodore during it.
As for Reboot: The name of the world is a reference to that series since it was my first introduction to the idea. Digimon being my second.

As of late I've become more interested into trying to get that game I've been thinking off of the ground. So here's an advertising thread. And...
Game summary.
The history.
Other setting info. Mostly serves as a glossary type thing right now.
And the rules.
Only the rules and game summary need to be read. And a character sheet written up of course. Which looks like this.
Drafts of the info on the RP I hope to start called Open Field. You will play as AI in a digital world called Mainframe. Recently an unusual area called the Open Field has opened up in the middle of Mainframe's capital of Mother. Causing a growth of rebellious actions and curiosity.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
