Alice
"If you're going to talk, then talk," the magician pointed out, now dressed and collecting dolls. Who to go to first to ask about this... thing? Rinnousuke was closest and he could identify what it was meant to be used for... but Yukari was the only person in Gensokyo that seemed to be both willing to explain and capable of doing so. Moriya... had a few problems in that department; she assumed that the people she was talking to knew some things and had to work in a dozen more explanations before finishing.
Alice was never going to ask her about how they made clothing in the outside world again.
SAKUYA
Occasionally, the maid glanced over at their gatekeeper, checking that she was doing everything correctly. This... seemed to be the case; nothing more had come tumbling and broken yet. Secure in the knowledge that she could at least finish the girl's breakfast correctly, Sakuya returned her attention to the food before her. If Meiling did anything wrong now, she wouldn't notice until the noise followed.
MOMIJI
"Leave the journalism out of here," Momiji demanded, hand reaching for the sword under the table and producing it. Outside, where danmaku reined, Aya and Momiji both had her beaten. Inside her own home, at close range? No amount of speed could make up for the awkward positioning, "If she wants to explain, she'll explain."
Aya
As soon as Momiji had told her to stop Aya immediately clammed up on the question, looking down with embarrassing hiding behind a sheepish smile. If there was one person that could get Aya to shut up, it was Momiji. And that wasn't just because the wolf tengu pulled out her sword, though that was a perfect good reason on it's own. The reporter has been on the wrong end of melee with the mountain guard more than enough times to know what buttons to not push, particularly anything involving calling her a dog.
"Sorry, Momiji" She apologized, then over to the other crow tengu "You too Hatate" Aya wasn't the kind to apologize to someone she was questioning, but this wasn't the same. And now that awkwardness returned.
Iku
Completely oblivious to Youmu's far too quick correction, Iku nodded when Alice told her to simply talk. Blunt and straight to the point, that's always something the oarfish appreciated. "I came here because I sensed a disturbance in this area while I was on patrol. Since it was unlike anything I know, I've come down to investigate. If you have seen anything out of the ordinary, or whatever experiments you have been doing recently have caused something, I need to know"
Magicians have always been high on the list of suspicion when it came to Iku's job. It seemed that with great power came lost of responsibility as many would recklessly meddle with nature and cause incidents such as opening dimensional gates or turn the sky green or even just blow themselves up. Alice might also get defensive if Iku tried to delve too deep into the puppeteer's work, specially since the last time they met was not exactly the best first impressions, so she would have to be careful.
Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky likeIt's been long, so very long since she had made an appearance. How long? Perhaps before the Spell-Card System was implimented? She stayed to herself almost in the same manner as Alice.. well, not like that to where she could be found. Rika was just gone, more or less. Where was she right now? She was working. She had much more material to work with. She was in the middle of a forest, near a makeshift workshop she used to live.
The wrench twisted and twisted, tightening various bolts on her new contraption. She went from one side to the other, in less than fourty seconds mind you. "Humm..." she stopped a moment, taking a step back. What was she even building? It was large, square, and she had no blue-prints. She must have been rather bored... "Mmmm..." she shook her head from side to side. Maybe she should try rebuilding Sigma? He did explode, after all... but she already has a tank. Then again, a tank wouldn't work on that Shrine Maiden. No way in hell. She probably couldn't beat her to begin with. She sighed. "Guhh... stupid Shrine Maiden and stupid youkai..." she was terrible with words by this point.
Rika immediately sat herself up, crossing her legs.
Idiots... idiots... idiots... IDIOTS.. IDIOTS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIKA!?
She immediately sat up with a powerful kick of both legs. The land was flawless. She gripped the wrench in hand and smiled, turning to the large metal thing she had been building only moments before.
"Wait, I know what I was building!" she was a genius that lost her train of thought. It happens to the best of us, right? She walked forward, adjusting the screws only a smidge before she stepped back. "Alright, come on, Sigma!"
It was a strange glow from the box. Was this magic from science? Many people hadn't witnessed this ability of Rika's, it was... certainly weird. The girl constantly tried to prove that science was better over magic, but then again it had the same effect. Certainly something weird.
The box's walls fell down and there it was. She recreated her friend from the past, the large one-eyed tank known as Evil Eye Sigma.
Rika grinned, and then leaped into the air, propping herself on its back.
"ALRIGHT, SHRINE MAIDEN..." the eye flapped its wings, ascending into the air. "I'll show you once and FOR ALL THAT..."
Wait... wait.. wait.. wait.. WAIT...
She hadn't ate anything today...
"Gghhh..." she looked over to the forest and then back to her workshop. She didn't have any food, but she had a bit of money so a trip into town was a necessity.
"ALRIGHT, CHARGE FORWARD! TIME TO EAT LUNCH!" she stomped on Sigma's head, which prompted the large machine to fly forward and over the forest. Time to eat!
The fourth Assassin's Rule: Shout loudly what the first three rules are, so that the enemy is aware of your presence!

Aya
Aya frowned when Hatate chickened out on telling them what the item was, keeping it a mystery for a little long. But Aya was a determined and pushy girl and when there was TRUTH to be discovered then she didn't back down. She leaned in closer, eyes on her target (Hatate, not the other thing). "Now why is it you are so embarrassed to tell us what it is, Hatate? Is it because it's something you use?" It seemed likely since she tried to changed the subject, rather poorly. "What is it YOU are hiding, Miss Himekaidou?"
Obviously overdone for effect and unnecessary as a whole, but that wasn't going to stop the traditional reporter.
