The guy who posted the story did note that his nephew had recently been removed from a household with an abusive parent and that was a factor in it, but Ninja's influence was clearly just making things worse.
And people say Youtubers don't influence kids.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowPeople deny, make excuses, twist facts, underplay things... when push comes to shove, they'll always find a way to deny.

With the context of his book what he says is not that weird. He is a professional, it is kinda silly to try to claim it is "just a game", because it really isn't. And it is nice he recognize his mindset is not for everyone and that you can still enjoy the game regardless.
But it seems he is a raging asshole aside that, though. It is one thing to take things seriously, or even getting angry after a loss. It is another to throw temper tantrums and insult your opponents or whatever. It seems to me that his actions, more than the literal meaning of his words, is the real problem. And within that context that his tweet and even book seem more like a defense of poor behavior.
I'll be honest, I thought the opening of this video was another segment with one of Jim's characters at first glance.
I had a feeling he'd love Jester.
Devil May Cry 3 kicked my ass even on easiest difficulty. Cerberus was something I raged over like a 13 year old.
...I was actually 13-14 years old back then. Still, it's fun but the highest difficulty where you die in one attack is extreme for me.

I didn't have a hard time with Cerberus, Agni/Rudra, or most of the weapon-granting bosses, but all the Vergil fights owned me. Also Geryon was a huge pain.

I remember being stuck on Vergil 3 for the longest time until I discovered by pure chance that Fenrir of all things (a weapon I'd neglected thoroughly up until that point) was pretty effective against him for some reason.
You mean Beowulf, right?
Anyway one benefit to the style switching is that it's going to make blue orb fragment challenges infinitely less tedious.
Bosses were always the most infuriating part for me. Enemies were mostly no problem but whenever a boss fight occurred I'd go "oh crap". Cerberus, Agni/Rudra, that giant centipede, the giant leviathan's insides... I forgot about Vergil, it's been way too long since I played Devil May Cry 3.
I do believe if I were to try again, I'd use my brain a bit more. I was too impulsive and impatient back then.

Yeah, that's it. It's been a long time since I've played DMC 3.
I certainly struggle against the bosses & I fully played 3 a little bit before 5 came out cause I got the multi-game pack.
Iβm not exactly a skilled & patient player so I always wind up taking lots of damage during these fights.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Geryon was the least fun boss for me. Not the hardest boss — Cerberus was the Wake-Up Call Boss for me — but the least fun.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI remember playing it at a friend's place and not having too much difficulty until Agni/Rudra, at which point I just got completely walled. Game has some difficulty curve issues
Cerberus was the first wall for me - because you hit him so early and without the weapons that are most effective against him (and with no DT). Agni & Rudra were easier, mainly because Cerberus himself is pretty effective against Agni - and once you have A&R, the fire element of Agni is more effective against Cerberus than Rebellion.
The main weakness of DMC3 is hands down the more platformy elements, but even they aren't that bad.

Ah still a disaster I see.
They longer they take salvaging this mess, the longer those upcoming games are gonna take to come out.

The weird thing is that DOA seems to be the only franchise Koei Tecmo has treated like this. Nioh had great DLC, and despite the initial release, the Razor's Edge version of Ninja Gaiden was a return to form.

Watch SymphogearConsumable dyes aren't new, though this is the first time I've heard of it for a fighting game. Or being strictly a paid thing
...Also I don't think changing a character's hair colour is standard in fighting games?
But, yeah, this is blatant greed
Probably because whether rightly or wrongly, otaku have a reputation for being the kind of person stupid enough to actually shell out for these.
I dunno, lotsa people are dumb enough to shell out for the most useless of cosmetics.
Secret Signature
Well that is genuinely concerning.
And as something who doesnβt watch Ninja wow he sounds like a fucking sore loser.
