Aaah, i've been itching to play in a Wo D setting again for a while.
Masquerade was one of my first rpg ever, and it was a looooong ago.
I wanna play a Hunter game where pretty much all supernatural creatures are thralls of Hell.
( I only keep vampires, werewolves, mages and ghosts. Demons are a given, of course.)
The PC would be hunting down a duo of roaming Serial-Killer brothers who are part of a Satanic Cult.

How does that work? I really don't know. Our GM has plot document after plot diagram after plot document describing the mechanics of his universe. I could look at them, but that would spoil the surprise. It was interesting when the god machine premièred recently and their needed to be an in universe reason as to why God Machine suddenly existed and the universe started working differently. Which means in our setting, the God Machine was made... by humans... in the twenty first century.
The really stunning thing is that we encountered the Monolith of the Horsemen, with our faces on it, while time travelling. We haven't even been born yet and we're already the Horsemen! DAMN YOU SETTING, WHY ARE YOU SO BATSHIT COMPLICATED. I should be interested in finding out the logistics of this, but really I'm just excited to use my character's title as the White Horsemen to blag more control over Britain's Twilight Network.
That's...absolutely bitching.
I've never put that kind of effort into creating a setting, and that makes me sad sometimes. But then again, the best story I ever ran came out of lore I made up on the spot because the players started asking questions I didn't have the answers to.
Still, I'd like to work on my worldbuilding more...
And as far as the "killing the immortal" goes...just leave it alone. It's a werewolf; don't fuck with it and generally speaking it won't fuck with you. I win.

If you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy, have some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse or I'll lay your soul to waste. It's a great setting; but it benefits from having had over a hundred game sessions played in it.
At the beginning not a lot of it was solid in our GM's mind, but with time the experiences lend themselves to solutions.
The setting currently has two regular groups of players playing. My group is the original one, consisting at the moment of nearly every supernatural splat avalible at the moment. We have a vampire (Who's a dick we'll probably murder soon) a werewolf who is so nice and unassuming she's managed to get through the entire run of the game without anyone trying to kill her, a mage who is pretty new to the group, my current character is a Sin-Eater, and is slowly taking over the Twilight Network, we have a Changeling, who during the events of the game found a Glamour spring and built her own court over it, we have a Princess (That's a fan splat, it's part of the setting because we had some ideas we couldn't say no too.) he survives in the setting simply because we don't tell him about all the people we have to murder, and finally we have a demon, who joined us very recently, and... well we have no idea what his game is... but our group is so desensitised to weird stuff we just allow him to translate stuff for us when we can see him.
The other group is a bunch of hunters; we're yet to meet in game; but that's probably a good thing as our group compositions mean we're pretty pre-disposed towards murdering each other; and they have a weapon which can deal your power stat in aggravated damage to you. (WHICH I MADE IN THE PAST DAMN IT. It has my name on it and everything! Theft! I call theft!) They're currently enjoying an adventure with one of my group's previous members, a changeling who co founded our current changeling's court; a changeling famed among a few people for burning down Edinburgh.

Why do people feel pressured to adopt the God-Machine rules and setting? They're dramatically different and thematically distinct from the first edition rules and setting, and are ridiculously complex to the point of virtually forcing you to print out cards to avoid getting confused.
Oh, right. Since they're official, you have to use them because if you don't you'll be considered unfashionable, because obviously the 1st edition rules are retarded because they're old and outdated and a glitzy cover like that could never lie. That explains why people who previously argued against the things GMC implements have suddenly changed their tune.
Really it's because we wanted Demons in the setting; and they don't work without the God Machine present in the setting.
Other than that... we like the idea of integrity and how firearms work now.
The setting only changed the way our GM wanted it to change; the setting was never too close the cannon in the first place anyway.
Heh, my group started out as operatives for THE major Hunter conspiracy of Britain; back then the group was smaller and was three humans (two of which are now dead), a mage (dead), changeling (Absolutely certainly about to be dead), and a werewolf (healthy!). Not the anti-hero Babylon of things that go bump in the night that betraying the conspiracy forced us to become. But yes, most of the more powerful members of the SLA were supernaturals kept under close wraps. Heck, their leader for a time was a vampire possessed by the spirit of the Vigil.
Of course we've long since over thrown that SLA conspiracy and are now working on fixing all the problems that skirmished caused... ie making every human on Earth infertile.

My Tremere PC is nearly finished. She is 8th Generation Technomant sired by Primogen who is in need of technological savvy pawn in his machinations. 8th Gen may sound strong, but she has little combat capability and focuses on her technological aptitude. Plus she is not in the best position since she is envied by some neonates, annoyed few others with her arrogant behavior and there is other vampire who wanted to Embrace her but Tremere Primogen one upped him, so her other potential sire is butthurt about missed opportunity.
She also has lowest starting Humanity possible, at 5. So she is pretty amoral.
My President is Funny Valentine. No you shouldn't.
Also, is it okay if I go for this Hitman with a Heart type of character?

I think he'll have a code to Never Hurt an Innocent.
But that causes problems with feeding.
Also, I wonder if I could have a takedown rifle.

All these solutions seem very impractical.
