As much as I agree why would they do that? The Favorites have a big numbers advantage right now; they'd be stupid to squander that.
Well, Brandon does say he wants to control the game. And that means, him, Erk, Reynold and Eddie to the end. And Corinne hates Philip. I would think she would want to take him out as soon as possible before he gets on the jury.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogBrandon?
Malcolm. I should stick to calling him Bartender.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogA huge numbers advantage don't make it a bad time to take out Boston Phil. It means they can vote out BP, a favorite, without loosing their advantage. Plut if they play their cards right they can get the fans on board with it because what fan is going to balk at voting out a favorite over a fan.
To the contrary, voting out BP might be more advantageous to do now rather than waiting till it's just fans.
Very true. And next week's episode is called "Blindside Time," for what that's worth.
It's probably not worth as much at face value as it might normally be, considering that they tend to take the episode titles from contestant quotes.
But one can still hope that the episode title in question means what it sounds like it means.
Indeed. -grin-
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogI'm calling it now, Philip has zero chance of winning the million bucks. Why? Because he may have borrowed pages from Boston Rob's book, but he's no Boston Rob.
Who do you think has the best chance of winning the million bucks?
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Still rooting for Bartender! He has just the right personalty to pull a socially active game and get people to vote for him.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogProvided no one catches on to him and he manages to avoid blowing any crucial immunity challenges like happened last time around.
And bonus point for him being someone who'd make a likable winner, too.
Oh, I said a good while back that Phillip has no chance of winning, for the same reason Russell Hantz never had any chance of winning— nobody on the jury can stand him.
At this point, I'm not really sure yet who could win. However, I don't think Cochran's chances are too good either unless he does something really big. For someone who's supposed to be a student of the game, he hasn't really made any big moves or anything. He needs to do something to get on the radar.
Well tribes merged but Corrine is gone. Thanks to Dawn telling Philip about her scheme to amass Bartender and Rendie and "the gay" together. While, yeah, it's nice that they played it this way...still don't like Philip and want to see him go.
Oh and Cochran won a challenge. I always did like the gross-eating challenge.
Bartender, butsa move! And I doubt very seriously that the Andrea/Eddie thing will go off anywhere.

Persona 3 Portable LiveblogIt was impressive to see Cochran pull that off.
And let's not forget that Malcolm the Bartender effectively has two hidden immunities if he communicates with his friends right. At the very least he knows where they both are.
That right there could be the key he needs to turn things around, or at least bump Phil off his throne.
Speaking of which...
Coming from Phil, that sounded about as stupid and arrogant as it possibly could have. It gave me a laugh. I will so very much enjoy watch him finally get his torch snuffed.
So, which "thing" do you consider grossest?
To me it's, in order, live maggots, duck (how something so horrid can be called "delicacy" escapes me), brain (Kreutzfeld-Jakob disease AHOY!), then noodle mollusc (Less gross than worms, hopefully cooked)
The moment I saw Corrine talk to Dawn, I knew she was done for, just like last weeks' evictee. Stealth r us strikes again!
So nice for perennial uberfan Cochran to win a classic challenge the first time it's reinstatement. Malcom and Philip did well too.
Didn't Reynold say something about getting "Lord Philip off of his lofty home" or something like that? That made me

Persona 3 Portable LiveblogRegarding the food, pretty much the same order for me, except reverse the duck and the brains. There's just something especially revolting to me about the idea of eating brains. Though, truth be told, I personally probably wouldn't be able to eat any of it and keep it down.
Anyway, yeah, great episode. I was delighted to see Cochran win as well, that was really nice for him.
And, yes, Corinne was doomed from the minute she talked to Dawn. Honestly, her strategy just wasn't that well planned out. Shame Phillip couldn't have been gone, but maybe it will still happen.
...and I think the Bartender shot himself in the foot. Still hopeful but checking out the numbers seem to be too high against him.
So...Dawn has a breakdown. Being the bearer of schemes didn't seem to be working too well for her. My brother was watching and thought her tears when talking to Andrea were fake but I didn't believe so. Dawn just isn't that manipulative. So...this shall be interesting.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogI have to agree, I don't see Dawn as the type to fake a crying fit.
Edit: According to this, it's real.

So close, and yet so far off the mark. >___<
Well the party is slowly going off. I sure hope Brenda gets more screentime. I call dibs on Brenda being the Sole Survivor! Trolololol.
"...if they are honest with themselves..." This is going to be one that sets off the fanbase doesn't it?
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogYes!!! He is gone. Man, what a Tribal Council, what an episode. Great, great stuff.
Should have known the Dawn thing was a Red Herring.
Hmm...to be fair, we got a slight bit of foreshadowing with Philip and the pool and Erk's remarks on it.
And There Was Much Rejoicing. At least within this thread at least. Now no one has a Puppet King to sneak to the final three. Philip's remarks on that did set off a flag for me but I didn't immediately think on it.
But really, the dead giveaway for me was the fact that we our three power players are all in the minority alliance. I was wondering what they were going to pull.
So...chaos ensuses later? We shall see.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogAnd next week we have the auction. And given the way things are going, if anyone even thinks that they might need the advantage in the immunity challenge, they should hold their money for it. Let's see who does.
Well, Julia didn't even get a Elimination In The Limelight. The focus was all on Corinne and Philip and the tension between them. Which makes me wonder who, if any, would support Philip when the merge happens.
Which is next episode. I'm hope everyone votes off Philip. Time to go. Before he makes it to the jury.
Also, it's been awhile since we had a gross food eating challenge. And it does seem to make more sense for individual immunity than the tribal immunity.
