Nicholas ran across the alley, seeing a bright light. When he got to the light, he saw Falkon. "Oh. It's you... thank God..." Nicholas said. Suddenly, they heard some footsteps. Nicholas turned around to see Lewis and (hopefully) Sarah. "Huh? What the hell is Linkara doing in Gotham?" Nicholas said.
"That's the second time I've been called that. Guess I have a sort of infamy in your world." Lewis said.
When Nicholas looks at her, Sarah turns to stone, Oh, great. Just perfect.
"hnnn..."
August had evaded capture for now, and heading immediately back to the retirement would be counter-productive until things had cooled down a little even if everyone else had gotten captured. If they had, Nanabey would probably tell him, and if they hadn't but needed him anyway they could call him.
Which left him incredibly worried and even more incredibly bored in the middle of Gotham City.
Well, even with Joker involved, the mystery of that green-eyed demon remained, since it also wasn't Copycat!Joker. But how to start researching the truth?
He thought about it for a second and shrugged.
"When in Gotham, do as the Batman does."
He twirled his cane, adjusted his Gas Mask and then started looking for seediest part of Gotham's underbelly.

"You have to teach that to me someday!" The Joker said to Kios as he had Bruce on his shoulder. "Now let's go back to the blimp and organize the party." The Joker said.
—
"So... The Joker has returned? Hm... This might be fun..." Another Joker said, licking his lips as he heard the megaphone rant from Joker. He then noticed a guy with a cane walking towards him. "Hello, are you lost?" He said, smirking.
August tilted his head as he regarded Copycat!Joker
"You don't look so good, buddy. Real pale with dark rings around your eyes and such. Should probably try being a little less serious about life, it's done wonders for me."
He did his best evil laugh, ending it with a near perfect imitation of the kind of rasping, terminally-ill death rattle more suited to elderly lung-cancer patients and letting his cerebral palsy show through the powers enough so that his whole body shook in an unnatural, unsettling way as he did.
He could sound quite disturbing/ not worth killing when he wanted to, all of the therapists told him so right before they quit.
A multitude of knives on his person, one of which probably matched pretty well to the cuts on the body from earlier.
August wondered if he could take him, but instead continued walking, keeping his metal fist from sight and exaggerating his limp.

"Alright..."
Kios was back in the blimp and had finished tying George's hands and feet as hard as he could. He figured that it wouldn't really work, since he saw that the kid could transform into a Viking, for God's sake, but hey, it was worth a try. He then proceeded to tie Bruce's hands and legs.
"So, when are we gonna stop and wait for the twerps to come save these guys?"
"Oh...I like the sound of that..." August said as he laughed with him using the same raspy half-dead laugh from before.
It just wasn't in him to be afraid of this guy even if it was smart to be. Fear wasn't usually how he processed things, even without the power to suppress tiredness pain and emotion to near non-existence. So, I found Another Joker, what do I do with him? He tried to broadcast it on the thought-link, keeping his guard up at the same time.

Falkon looked around him. He was in an ally, surrounded by large buildings which hid whatever light this city had from him. He raised his sword, filling it with energy, and used it as a light.
