"Shit! GAS MASKS ON NOW! Those who can out the windows the front won't be as safe!" August drove his crutch through the retirement home's nearest window and incorporated as much metal as he could find into his hand before following through with his own advice and using his hand to slow his descent against the outer wall.
Before he jumped he yelled "MOVE!" but he wasn't sure the others would understand.

"Very well. Harley, make sure no one messes up my ride." He said. He then got a parachute and leaped off, activating it as he landed onto the ground. He then kicked the doors wide open. "GENTLEMEN! You have the magnificent honor of being my honorary party guests!" The Joker said to a couple of people there. They predictably scream and run.
everybody, masks on immediately! There's a reason I had everyone take one! August said through the mental link. Yelling it would tip off their attackers.
Rather than head out around the front for immediate pickup he took off through the winding streets and back alleys first. If this was a hostage situation it was more important that at least one of them evade capture.

"Fuck..." Was all August could manage to say. Falkon had been unconscious when he handed out Gas Masks, which meant that any toxin or spore wielding villain in Gotham (there were a lot of them) would make easy prey of him and any thug that used knockout gas (All of them) would get him in a heartbeat.
"Am I the only one who bothered to actually dive out a window and ride down a wall?"
Well, at least he was already pretty far away...though that meant he wasn't near the Tel'tak either.
He slipped on his gas mask, despite being a block or two away by now.

Nicholas ran, also putting on his gas mask. He then tried to find the nearest window and leaped out of it, no doubt cutting himself due to the lack of anything protecting his chest.

Bruce ran to the exit, but then noticed The Joker in front. He froze on the spot.
"Huh? There's a nice and spry looking guy!" The Joker said.
Once Kios landed on the ground, he immediately noticed Bruce looking directly at the Joker. With a bit of concentration, he changed most of his facial features to look like a completely different person, and rushed inside, looking scared out of its mind, joining the other people that were running around, trying to find good hostages.
"Bruce?! BRUCE?! Where's Bruce?"
Michael noticed that he was all alone in a corridor- his crew had jumped through the window, however, he had decided to follow Wayne.
Kios continued to run, and even though there were plenty of old people who could be his hostages, they didn't really interest him. His thoughts were interrupted when a kid, in his fifteens, bumped right into him. Hey. Having a kid as a hostage is far more interesting than having an old person. Kios did his best "scared out of his mind" face and looked directly at George:
"S-sorry! Are you alright?!"

"A retirement home? What kind of hostages do you expect to find there?... Gah... I'll help you do it. But I'm going to stay behind in case the pipsqueaks show up."
"Wait. Did anyone else just hear something?"
