Only a few more to go. Tarlin was pleased with the body count she'd managed to rack up from this fairly plain mission. Swapping out her axe for her bow again she aimed for one of the retreating drivers and fired.
She turned and was about to shoot the second, when a vine suddenly wrapped around her wrist. Letting out a curse she focused instead on trying to rip it off her.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobRex leaned against a caravan, resting. He breathed deeply, sniffing again. The smell of the soldiers had gone along with their numbers. It had been replaced, naturally, with the smell of blood, dense and metallic in the air.
"I hate that smell..." He muttered. Though he supposed it was inevitable that he'd smell it when fighting.
The small dragon noticed a speck growing in the distance, flying up for a minute to get a better view. Sure enough, it was a ship. A fine vessel, perhaps, but also possibly their target.
"Oi, captain! Ship in the distance!" He called, landing in front of the redhead and comically saluting. At least, he thought the redhead was captain - suffice to say Mary and Anne being twins did not help him remember who was who.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Making sure the chains of light were tight enough to keep their new hostage still, Treia giggled wickedly at his weak spellcasting. "I recommend you keep perfectly still and wait. Pray on your health." She smirked as she threw in a rather obvious hint leaden with menace, "Consider Providence your savior, my friend. And it may have mercy on you through me." She left the mage hanging where he was, bind in mid air by her light chains, and made her way over to the caravan. There would be bodies to burn and... an innocent? How annoying. If they had harmed anybody besides their targets, there would be penance to be made to Providence.
Baleust gathered closer to the others. It seemed they took a prisoner. The man didn't seemed like he would've put up a fight. He was glad, he liked fighting sure, but needless bloodshed gave him a bad taste in his mouth. There wasn't much left to do, so he focused on the team dealing on what to do with this person.
"U-uhm," Jessica noticed nobody else asked, so she decided to give it a shot, "So, who are y-you?" Some might look at her and assume she's out of place in this group.
"Oh! Right, we're a group within the Nameless Rebellion," She realized that it might look like they were mere bandits or something if she didn't say something, so she had to say something, right?
Token Loli!In a still emotionless and monotone voice (he always speaks in an emotionless monotone), Ignatius replied as he found appropriate.
"A group of rebels ambushing a convoy of metals for the king's purposes seems logical." He paused briefly then spoke again. "I will tell you what you wish to know about my identity but there is little to say. My name is Ignatius Bellator. I have no family, guardians or home so I travel. I was walking across this road when you ambushed, and took cover so as not to become collateral damage."
Ether's ears perked up as she heard speech ring out, and followed it towards its source with her superior elven ears. Slowly, diligently, the dragonic elf crept towards the bathing fairy with something akin to respect and excitement upon her face. It wasn't what she was looking for, but it was still very interesting in her own way. Still, she made no move to detach herself from the reeds and only continued to observe the happy fairy.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected."I see..." Jessica nodded, "Uhm, what's your opinion on the rebellion then?" She asked, wondering what they should do with him. Likely it'd be best to just leave him behind since they had another mission to get to some time, but she wanted him to see what he says.
Token Loli!"The rebellion appears capable of achieving its purpose and becoming favoured within the land, taking it over, if you preform efficiently and gather enough people and resources for your plans. It is against the laws of the kingdom, but deems them unjust and as such logicically shall disobey them. Personally, it could potentially benefit myself, and the monarch's rule has caused me negative effect."
Jessica was trying very hard to understand what the boy before her was saying. He spoke in such an odd way...
Oh! The rebellion can benefit him? Uhm, did she have authority to allow him to join? She turned to the others behind her, "Uhm, what do you all think? He sounds like he wants to join..." She wasn't one to make such a decision herself.
Token Loli!

He just spoke. XD Pay attention man.
