Dammit.
You win this round, not-Simpsons...
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.On this season's premiere, Homer will be diagnosed with narcolepsy.
Fixed it. Thanks.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Ya crossed a wire with the political thread.
I liked today's episode.
I realize this is The Simpsons, the MST3K Mantra, and the highly questionable reality. even for a Simpson ep of this whole thing. But does Marge have to, in and out of reality, have to carry such a huge Idiot Ball concerning her sisters during any problems with Homer? The Movie was the one and only time they haven't moved in to try and seal a break-up. I know they're her sisters, but their advice is one-note, even by this show's standards. Not defending Homer, mind you. But Patty & Selma will, rare possible exceptions aside, do only one thing when they have their troubles.
The Go-To For Accurate, Thorough Information about Elfen Lied : http://elfen-lied.wikia.com/wiki/Elfen_Lied_WikiCan't say I cared for it. It was sort of sad that during the episode, it was tough to stay invested knowing they were going to pull a Reset Button of some sort at the end, and All Just a Dream (I think? The final scene was totally confusing to me. Who were those people?) is the copiest of cop-outs. And no, doing it multiple times doesn't make it better.
But ignoring that, were the individual jokes funny? I think the only ones I actually found amusing were the references to past episodes, from the Continuity Cavalcade in the form of tattoos, or the "Owner of the Month" wall.
Actually, two other jokes were sorta funny. The "well, you did miss a pretty sad montage" and Moe getting in his car when asked for clean glasses made me crack a grin. Everything else sorta fell flat.

Hop on over to this page and add them.Homer and Marge's dates having all sorts of issues between them was pretty funny, although i agree, it was an unsteady lurch into season 26 especially when they could have tried some continuity for a change (Kirk and Luanne van Houten stayed apart for a while and eventually got back together).
So seriously. Could someone please explain the ending of the premiere to me? I have no idea what happened.

Hop on over to this page and add them.It turned out that Marge was dreaming that Homer was dreaming that Homer was dreaming that Homer was dreaming. It was all Marge's dream, and I think she was reporting it after the fact. Simple as that. I hope they didn't spend all those rumors on just the premiere. They're not separating or anything, but I hope they'll make "we're actually working on this marriage" a theme of the season.
Fresh-eyed movie blogHow long before this gets turned into a Creepypasta story?
No, I mean the last three seconds with characters I've never seen before. I can follow the fairly simple All Just a Dream twists but then... that happened.

I stopped watching new seasons after "Lisa Goes Gaga". Though I did see both crossovers with Family Guy and Futurama.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!My girlfriend likes it. We watch it when it airs , but don't go out of our way to see it.
... her English isn't great so I assume it's more a nostalgia thing for her.

Oh wow, that was so incredibly forgettable I had to open the episode on Hulu.
I think they might have been in the hipster culture earlier? It's just further absurdity by making the whole thing a story on a random chick's tattoo.
Fresh-eyed movie blogApparently, that was one of the cast members of Girls, who also voiced the pharmacist.
So it was a really out-of-place Shout-Out to a not-very-popular premium cable show.
... yeah. Given the show's ratings, I kinda think the Simpsons guys overestimated how many people would get it. Or just didn't care (HBO doesn't seem to care how little people are watching it, after all).
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. This "Halloween of Horror" episode I saw last night is both scary and funny at the same time. Especially with Lisa being scared by visions of an "Unhappy Halloween" at school, E.T. saying, "Hello, scrotum", the line from Ralph Wiggum ("I saw an areola!"), and The Rocky Horror Picture Show "Time Warp" parody, "NC-17 Halloween"! I also like the especially creepy Halloween (1978) theme whistled by both Homer and Lisa, and also played in the end credits too! Here's the original theme:
So what do you think?
I really loved that episode.
Lisa's terror felt very realistic and palpable like an actual terrified child rather than the inconsistent mini adult she became in later years. The SPOILER BECAUSE I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK THE TAG -
Home invasion felt grounded and scary. Most of all Homer and marge actually acted like good parents.
Well, I thought up a lullaby reminiscent of The Joker's in Batman: Arkham Knight, and it will be for the upcoming THOH episode that will be in four days. It goes like this:
Rock-a-bye Simpson, Bob's getting free.
He'll be the last person you'll ever see.
So try to relax, while shutting off fear.
Soon Bart will be gone, and Bob will be here.

As it is the Halloween season, a thought occurred to me.
Remember when Homer and Moe were barhopping so they could find Moe a girlfriend? In one of them (or was it the only one they visited?), I remember Moe said "Aw geez, I'm so nervous. Women can smell fear" and Homer replied "Relax. All I smell is garlic and fish."
Eww. Why would a nightclub smell like garlic and fish? x_x Springfield must have a serious vampire problem.
Pinkie Pie and flugelhorns are a bad combination. As You Know, Treehouse of Horror XXVI was pretty decent, with some mediocre segments, but the one saving grace that keeps the episode from falling flat is Sideshow Bob, voice by Kelsey Grammer. You can see it in the review I wrote in this link here: http://www.tv.com/shows/the-simpsons/treehouse-of-horror-xxvi-3253406/reviews/
I hate to bring this up, but...
If Mr. Plow was an annoying YouTube ad, you'd probably have the jingle stuck in your head all day again.

Oh, and here's a video for this one:
So what do you think of this one?

In a sense, the Brave and the Bold animated version parodied the original Emperor Joker comics scene, which was far less funny and much darker.
