A collection of blanks and a picture that looks like someone had way too much fun with the blur tool. Yay.

Well, I'm sorry if everyone decided on grabbing a pic for their characters, making me feel obligated to do the same, and I'm sorry if I want to keep my character's identity and abilities a secret. -_-

Yes, because it's completely fair that someone who isn't plot relevant to be a collection of mysteries when everyone else is being honest. Because obviously fairness isn't important.

What plot? We haven't even begun to move yet. And besides.

As a last note, if you wish to keep your Servant’s identity and/or abilities a secret from the other players (yes you can do that, I’m doing it, and it’d make me look like one hell of a hypocrite if I said you couldn’t), send either Death Chariot, neobowman, or I a PM containing the appropriate data. That way, you can continue on with your mystery man/woman without looking like you pulled their powers completely out of your arse.

I'm perfectly within my rights to not reveal the details of my Servant.

... Obviously, the fact that Archer is paired with someone labelled as 'antagonist' will have nothing to do with any potential plot. Nope, not possible in the slightest. Can't happen.

And, given that you're the only person to do that, it makes you look paranoid.

And you're being needlessly hostile.

Actually, KSPAM specifically said that we can do that.

Please lay off the hostility.

And I consider letting people do that to be the single most idiotic decision KSPAM's made. Since roleplaying requires that people work together, letting players withhold large amounts of information from each other is just going to cause problems.I don't particularly like that Archer is so mysterious, but I'm hoping that's to do with plot and not 'lol, just because'. >.>

Or, in short: something that needs cooperation won't work well if half the people don't know what's happening.

DeathChariot Since: Dec, 2011

Maybe so,but that's still his decision.

Remember,he is still the GM. Therefore it is totally within his power to make rules like that.

If you have a problem, talk to him directly and please do not be hostile to the players who decide to go with the anonymous route, since it was the GM who implemented that.

And now for something that I think I've seen mentioned repeatedly but people always seem to forget: if both the Master and the Servant want it off, Mad Enhancement will be off. That, or Ilya had some other means of making sure that Heracles was perpetually insane, which makes less sense. Or sources are lying to me. Either way, it does not exempt you from a personality section. Insanity is not one-dimensional. >.>

Starbound? Nothing. Being mysterious for the sake of being mysterious when every other player neatly listed things? Annoying. So's a personality section that consists of one word. >.>

[down] Well, they're fighting engines if it's A+, but that's a special case. [lol]

[up][up][up]Um... Yeah, that's actually a kind of valid point there. Being berserker doesn't mean they're one-dimensional fighting engines; just look at Hercules and the Black Knight, for instance. Although they were locked in the grip of Mad Enhancement, a lot of personality traits other than berserk rage were apparent (Herc's loyalty to Ilya being the most obvious). Unless that was just a placeholder personality field and you intended to fill it in later in which case sorry, ignore me. >.<

So, here's my Master. Appearance is lacking, because I don't have the opportunity to find a picture right now. I'll find one later today.

Name: John Christopher Fairbanks
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Height/Weight: 185/75
Master of: Rider

Appearance: In civilian clothing.
Personality: John Fairbanks is a calm and composed person, but one who is ever driven forward by a burning passion for justice and stability. He is fairly idealistic, always believing in a peaceful solution, but these ideals have taken a beating through his life. However, he stays positive. He is clever and charismatic, and knows how to work the media.

Abilities: His magic abilities come mostly from the time he worked in the Metropolitan Police Service's Mage Squad.
Magic Gunslinger: John's eleven-shot handgun is magically reinforced to fire special enchanted solid projectile bullets. The bullets can be pre-enchanted or enchanted on the battlefield, although the latter will naturally be less sophisticated than the former. The effects vary by which enchantment John uses, though a bullet can not carry two enchantments at the same time (for example not both fire-elemental and armour-piercing, not paralyzing and freezing).
Communication Magic: He can enchant items to work as two-way or one-way communication devices, as well as make small "eavesdropping" magic circles that fade either after a set time or at his command.
Eagle Eye: John's cybernetic enhanced left eye (a transplant required after a particularly nasty assignment), is from the start capable of zooming in on minute details as well as see at certain particular wavelengths invisible to the human eye. However, it can also be magically enhanced to pick up on traces of magic power, translate most languages living and dead and see through low-level illusions.

Bio: John Fairbank's father used to be a police lawyer, who worked hard to preserve justice at the where the major corporations were solidifying their rule over the nation. However, he died in a suspicious accident, with clues leading both to rebel and megacorp involvement. John grew up alone with his mother, and while the words of his mother made sure that he did not choose the police force for the sake of revenge, his father's ideals lived on in him. His mother, who was a mage, taught him magic, and he early became a member of the Met's Mage Squad. They are an elite group who used magic to solve certain criminal cases with the blessing and assistance of the Mage's Assosciation. The government pressed John, who besides being an active agent also was a spokesperson for the Met, into joining the Grail War, a task he finally agreed to.

Assets: No particular financial strength, although he has been supplied funds by sponsors of the government to establish a "base" in a large house in London for his operations. More importantly, he is still active in the Met, which gives him access to most of their equipment, personnel and contacts. This comes in addition to his own personal contacts in the free press, the governmental press and certain magical circles (though not the more high-born ones).

[up] Please don't go, we can talk about this!

\*sighs* Why can't you kids just play nice? Raineh, to clarify. I added that clause because (A) it was required for Archer and (B) I didn't expect many to abuse it. And not many have.

I admit Berserker's identity isn't as important to the (whatever semblance of the words pre-planned can be applied to this) plot, and his personality could use just a touch of expanding, but I don't think it's fair just to immediately single Starbound out for it.

Also, Lemurian is accepted.

Don't mind me too much, I just like fact checking.

On another note, I'll be working on True Assassin's profile now. Last Night's headache was bothersome as hell, what with the lack of medicine in the house. <w<

Anyway, Starbound, if you really want to leave, I won't stop you. Raineh can take over and fill the Berserker spot. But if you want to stay, and I hope you do, the spot's still open.

I feel like I should point out that one of the reasons giving so little information on a Berserker is especially bad is because Berserker is immediately at a disadvantage(as far as people wanting to be the Master for them) because, unless you have Ilya's infinite mana works, the Master character will die from the strain of supporting the Berserker(granted, this can be staved off or partially avoided by turning off Mad Enhancement, but still). So, the Berserker has to have a fairly big draw of being an interesting character to interact with, unless the potential player intends on killing their Master off from the get-go.

Excellent!

Also, just for the sake of anal-retentive world-building, I'm going to start coming up with the various big name corporations, and let you corp players choose which ones you want to represent (this really has no effect on anything aside from enriching detail). Since the rebel factions are united but separate, feel free to come up with your own movement names and M Os.
