Wow. It's been twelve hours, and now all we're missing is two Servants, and some Masters. This thing certainly filled up fast
- Name: Miyamoto Musashi. Yes, that Musashi. Why are they not dead yet? Well, they should obviously be a Servant in that case, but let's just say that their death wasn't as... well, death-like as it should have been. Goes by the name of Saito Natsumi, now.
- Age: 517
- Gender: 'Male'. Centuries of life, combined with the fact that people asked far too many questions after magic was revealed, lead to Musashi using Magecraft to make themselves less... Musashi-like. So, despite what history says, one of the greatest swordsmen to have ever lived is now female.
- Height/Weight: Five foot four, 138 pounds. Or, in metric, 1.62 metres and 62.5kg.
- Appearance: Here we are!
◊ The swords are kind of straightforward and the glove just looks cool. Try imagining that they look more... Japanese.
- Personality: In a word? Reserved. Philosophical even in life, centuries on which to think have made Musashi even less inclined to get involved in worldly matters unless pressed. Though they know that the best way to win a fight is to avoid it entirely and not fight fair, they're still not averse to getting in combat themselves. Ultimately, they just want things to be peaceful.
- Abilities: Swordsmanship of the highest calibre, combined with blades reinforced over time to withstand practically anything that can be thrown at them. Oh, and they're a Dead Apostle, with all the attendant strength and tendency to heal that comes with it. That is how Musashi survived their death, though not by choice. Fortunately, they never really focused enough on one aspect of Magecraft to develop a Reality Marble.
- Bio: See Musashi's life history, then replace dying of cancer with 'apparently died of cancer, actually got killed by a curious Dead Apostle to see what would come of it'. This, apparently, is the result, with centuries of watching Japan, then the entire world decline from what they once knew. Though it might be too late, now seems to be the final chance to set things right, or at least avoid a thermonuclear return to the feudal system.
- Assets: Themselves, those katanas, and a cheap rented room. Musashi hasn't been long in London.
If you do accept this, I guess that they'd either get Jack or Caster, as a balance to the fact that they're more suited to fighting themselves.

I personally like the idea of a Dead Apostle Master, but we'll see how things go. If you are approved, chances are you will be stuck with either one of the Assassins or Caster, like you thought.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial![]()
We have an ancient genderbent vampire samurai as a Master. I say show me what you got
Remember though, for future Masters, please take factions into account. So far, we have 1 corporate Master, and one civvie (I assume).

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialMy character is up on the previous page, I have elected to use the Magi Association for my character's slot.
Uhm, I was worried that you might not allow so much power but with a Dead Apostle I'm not as worried. XD Let me know when you're sure I can have Caster~
Also a request: I would like Enkidu as his servant. If the power levels are too high, I can reduce the amount of power given by the Runes. Just let me know~
Token Loli!@Flame Haze: Okay, we have:
- MegaCorp: Global-scale corporations who wish to expand their already extensive sphere of influence, while at the same time maintaining their own dominance over their rival companies. Possible Masters may include CE Os, board members, family of the CEO or board members, and maybe particularly important employees lower down the ladder.
- La Résistance: Your standard bunch of freedom fighters, a (mostly) unified force of various rebel groups who have temporarily banded together to fight the influence of corporations over the government. By overthrowing the government. Be warned, The Revolution Will Not Be Civilized. Possible Masters would include leaders, lieutenants, family of the above, or pretty much anyone else in the group, really. Not gonna be picky here.
- The Government: Politicians desperately trying to control the chaos of the time and bring control back into the hands of actual government officials. Pretty much made up entirely of politicians. How far up the ladder is up to you.
- Civilians/Freelancers: Uhhhh, duh? We have two of these now, btw. One more is allowed.
@David: I'm not neobowman, so I don't have final say on balance issues, but I have my reservations about Fragarach. I really don't think it should be used here, especially if you want Enkidu as a Servant. Fragarach in general just seems like a dick move. I have little problem with the runic magic. I'm willing to work with you on this, but as it is, it's either give up Fragarach or give up Enkidu.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialHrm... hope this Master is okay.
- Name: Rosemary "Rosey" Sinner
- Age: 14
- Gender: Female
- Height/Weight: 5'2", 105lbs
- Appearance: Dat forehead.
◊
- Personality: Rosey is a very expressive girl with a taste for the flair and dramatics. She believes anything she does is an impressive feet and easily gets temperamental when someone thinks otherwise. She is usually the very commanding sort, with a tendency to be overly passionate about her beliefs and goals. She is also very self conscious of her overly large forehead which is why she always wears a top hat.
- Abilities:
- Puppet Mastery - She is one of the few magus with the unique talent of creating and controlling magical puppets. However, she still needs alot of a training before she can control more than one at a time. Her puppets usually take the form of unassuming children, seemingly weak and useless. In truth, these puppets are quite capable at combat, using some very unfitting and sinister weapons. Against a Master, these are truly weapons to be reckoned with, against a servant, they are mere canon fodder.
- Army of a ThousandFake- An illusionary trick of the eye. It takes a few puppets and makes them seem like an army. Though it is not a literal thousand in this illusion, it really seems like it. This is a spell specifically for intimidating and scaring off opponents. Someone with enough perception or magic resistance could potentially see through the illusion. But more often than not, it will successfully trick the opponent on the first try. Any attempts to use this spell a second time with the same person, always ends in failure.
- Limb Replacement: Thanks to the properties of her element in which she uses to control puppets, she could potentially replace the limbs of those who lost them. With enough training, it could go even as far as to replace an entire body. She has never attempted such an advance form of the magic, and probably won't ever until she gets more training in her field of magic.
- Bio: Rosey is one of the many respectable members of the Sinner Family, a noble family who has had power and prestige for generations. Her Uncle and head of the family, as well as the owner of one of the bigger corporations world wide, choose her specifically to represent their family and his company in this war. Normally, he or one of his own sons would have taken the spot of representative, but his brother thoroughly convinced him that his niece had far more talent than any other magus in their family and would pave the way for victory. This was probably embellishments on her father's part. She suspected that he had ulterior motives in having her be a Master. But he was her father, and she would not question the wishes of her father.
- Assets: Because she is only the niece of the family head, she doesn't have as much as she could. Her father is a wealthy man, but his wealth is nowhere near that of her Uncle's.

All seems fine here, and it's good to have another corporate Master. Adding you to the list.
As a reminder, I'm just giving preliminary clearance. neobowman is in charge of balance, and will ultimately decide if your Servant or Master is a-okay, so wait for his opinion on these things.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialHAHA, THE DECIDER OF YOUR FATE IN THIS RP HAS ARRIVED. Here to bring judgement and tears to the eager younglings of this RP.
Generic Troper. I cannot for the life of my navigate myself through that wikipedia article that you linked. Could you provide a brief synopsis of her story and why she deserves each of the stats she's given? Also elaborate on her noble phantasm a bit more and how it's related to what she did in her life.
Death Chariot. How'd Leo learn magecraft considering it's so highly guarded? Just wondering. Also trained in everything? Piloting aircraft, navigating deep-sea trenches and discerning different subspecies of plants from each other? Be a bit more specific please.
Raineh. Musashi? By they, you are referring to Musashi, yes? Also, is he at the same level of fighting as servants? In which case, he will be rather overpowered and rejected considering he's a dead apostle on top of all that.
Flame, what do the puppets... Do? Sounds like a glorified familiar to me. Could you explain in a bit more detail?
Everyone else is fine, or in the case of David, has been addressed already.
Servants have the backup provided by actually having NP's. Musashi... doesn't. There's only so much that can be done through slicing things up. Besides, that's about all of their combat abilities: straight fighting. Mystic Eyes of Enchantment aren't particularly useful on most Servants, given either magic resistance or the fact that a fight is no time to try and hypnotise anyone.
So... imagine Fake Assassin without Tsubame Gaeshi. Swordsmanship, only without anything at all should that fail. Except maybe punching them. Which... umm... also probably wouldn't work. >.>
There's also the fact that they have no assets to back themselves up whatsoever, don't even know the city they're in, and are kind of noticeable once you've met them once.
edited 13th Feb '12 2:23:44 PM by RainehDaze
That's still really powerful. Remember that Fake Assassin fought Saber, the strongest servant to a draw without even using his noble phantasm. In fact, he fended off all 5 servants who assaulted the temple. Including BERSERKER.
Too strong at the moment. Like, quite a bit too strong. If you want to use Musashi, then there has to be some sort of nerfing effect applied there.
Move around and cut things. Basically that's all they can do. They have no personality, no will, no thinking ability. They have to be consciously controlled which is why Rosey can only control one at a time for now. She doesn't have the discipline or control to control more than one. They're made to be small children so she can carry around more than one without much trouble.
Assassin doesn't have a Noble Phantasm, as such. What Tsubame Gaeshi does is hack into the Second Magic. Not exactly relevant, however.
Umm... no assets, doesn't know the country, would, due to their strength, have Caster or Assassin as a Servant, and... err... has no real abilities outside of one on one combat. Two on one, against Servants? Well, that's not a good situation to be in, at all, and their Servant is unlikely to be of much use in a situation. Against an NP? Nothing they can do about that apart from retreat.
Excellent swordsmanship is only of great use the first time around, right? After that, people wouldn't try a straight fight, and if characters were to die in the first fight of a roleplay... that wouldn't be a very good thing, so someone would undoubtedly intervene. ^^;
Beating Berserker doesn't seem such a feat, given that the extra strength came at the cost of any and all sanity, which, unless you have Lancelot's ridiculous level of skill, pretty much removes your ability to fight with any tactical ability.
Umm... and the katanas probably couldn't kill a Servant. They're extremely hard to break, but they're not conceptual weapons or the like, just incredibly durable swords. They'd maybe be able to hold Servants up?

Master:
- Name: Adelinda Diederich
- Age: 10
- Gender: Female
- Height/Weight: 144.78cm/30kg
- Appearance: The wings are actually ornaments she likes to wear, though only sometimes.
- Personality: Adelinda is spoiled and slightly capricious, willing to do a lot of things just for fun. Though there are some lines she definitely won't cross, and she doesn't want to hurt anyone, she's not above abducting an acquaintance and locking them in the mansion with her for several hours, to play. Adelinda is also rather easily upset, and she's surprisingly lonely as well(since the only other people who live in her mansion are her maids). At the same time, Adelinda is also very confident and self-assured. She is extremely confident, and has no doubts that she and her servant will be able to defeat anything they come up against. She is terrified of abandonment, and the death of those close to her.
- Abilities: Having the elemental affinity for metal, Adelinda has some basic spells involving metal, mostly weak projectiles and shields. However, her true abilities lie in her reality marble. Her origin is loneliness.
- Reality Marble:
- Whimsical Blood Array: This reality marble takes the form of a vast, massive child's room, with a ceiling high enough that it vanishes out of sight. From the ceiling hangs a vast, slowly rotating mobile made of knives twisted into the shapes of stars and moons. The floor is littered with gravestones, but none of them are marked with a name. In addition, nearly everything is stained with blood. The target is bombarded by a massive amount of lasers made of directed blood. These do a high amount of damage. The blood lasers are the default, but Adelinda can also create nearly anything out of blood within Whimsical Blood Array. The reality marble, when not fully activated, allows her to manipulate blood in the regular world as long as it is outside of a body.
- Reality Marble:
- Bio: Born into a wealthy German magus family that had recently moved to London, Adelinda's very early life was filled with affection, but strong guidance. After all, the Diederich family wanted to raise their heir as a good magus. When she was only five years old, tragedy struck. Her family attracted the attention of a insane magus who desired an heir of his own. He attacked one night, killing much of her family right in front of her. The trauma brought on by this event allowed her to unconsciously partially activate her natural reality marble, which killed the insane magus by totally draining the blood from his body through a large wound her father had managed to inflict on him before dying. When she was found in the morning, she was out cold and covered in blood. While she has managed to recover since then due to psychological counseling, she is still terrified that those close to her will die. The counseling and financial aid was provided by Arctech, a major corporation, which has also been grooming her to be their sponsored Master in the new grail war.
- Assets: A large, fancy mansion, and three maids/bodyguards, as well as financial backing and training from magus aligned with Arctech. Also an incredibly competent team of psychologists, but she hasn't had to use them for several years.
I know I already have a character, but I've been wanting to use this general idea for a while.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."More than likely, they don't have to worry about things like fatigue or pain, you know being... not living, breathing creatures?
Why I have to compare them to Taiga of all people is beyond me. Unless you expect Taiga to be a Master in this RP. A better comparison is if they could beat -insert Magus here-.
If that's the case, then it depends on the Magus' magical ability. And if they have anything offensive that could destroy a good bit of the puppet.
And if it's a servant, they could probably backhand the puppets into oblivion. I did say they were mere canon fodder for a servant.
