...Someone running a stall deck just called me cheap. >.<
I'd understand him saying it early on when it seemed possible that I might be running Hornet...but he kept saying it throughout the duel. I mean, yeah I was getting out one xyz per turn but...that doesn't make the deck cheap. That's actually pretty slow compared to wind-ups, holy marks or probably a few other decks.
Also he was a terrible player. -nod-
Burn up, hurricane of justice! There are plenty of free ways to get info on the cards. The YGO Wikia, online duels, etc...
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Stall Decks are EVILLLL IMO. Just... Augh. They're worse than Inzektors, Holy Markeds, Verz, and Steelswarms in my book.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Steelswarms? 0_o I mean, I hate bugs just as much as the next insectophobe (probably not the right word, but you understand my meaning), but that seems a little drastic.
Seriously though, aren't Steelswarms just basically Monarchs with a new paint job and a few support cards? Caucastag is the only really efficient one among them; a send-away and a few extra Life Points. I'd much rather play against Steelswarms than, say, anti-monster Chaos.
Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)Stall decks are horrible. This guy called me cheap for running an...admittedly kinda awesome...special summoning engine when his entire deck was stall cards and watts. I mean, I understand that watts suck in a straight battle, but cards like Messenger at 3, Gravity Bind and Level Limit in a format where people run 1 to 3 spell/trap removal, kinda annoying. >.>
Also, I don't get why Steelswarm are up there with Verz, Inzektors and Holy Marked. Then again, the only time I saw them in action was one time in Tag Force 5, and I was basically playing them as monarchs. >.>

Burn up, hurricane of justice!Same annoying recyclablity as Verz. Augh.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.I prefer Monster-stall decks, to be honest. Spirit Reaper is already a difficult card to get around since it dodges Book of Moon (facedown at resolution of destruction, so it stays) and it sticks up the opponent's field since they summoned a monster, which they'll lose to any Torrentials or Dark Holes they toss out.
Also, if stall decks are cheap, then Rescuezars are cheaper. Negate my Countdown with Laggia or stop my Fader/Scarecrow with Dolka and I'm ten kinds of boned. On the other hand, triple Laggia is very common down at my local tournament and, of course, they have a Solemn playset. SIX Summon negations plus another three off sided Rai-Ohs is a horrible thing to have to slug through. I miss my D-Caliber already. :(
Edit: Recycleability? You clearly haven't seen a Sacred player in action. Or a Dark World player, via Grapha's bouncing skill. It's like playing keepy-uppy with horrible monstrosities.

Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)Recuezars? Damn, annoying too. Though an honest Evol deck is fun to duel against.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Oh, absolutely. Rabbit Laggia's horribly cheap and I'm a little annoyed that Bunny's not hanging out with its little brother on the banned list any time soon. But...at least with Laggia, they negate one card and then you're allowed to play again. With stall decks, if you're not running a bunch of removal, you're pretty much stuck waiting for them to finish burning/direct attacking/final countdown/whatever their solitaire win condition of choice happens to be. >.>
Burn up, hurricane of justice! The only deck using that sodding bunny which I enjoy playing is a decktype my brother made up; using him to pull out high-powered Fiends like Archfiend Soldier and Zure, then boosting them to ungodly levels with Solidarity and playing Raviel to make it even more hilarious.
(He could also pull stuff like Common Charity + Allure, taking out the Solidarities and replacing them with Daigusto Emeral and Leviair to recycle cards and splashing in Dark Simorgh to make use to them once they died off. Definitely one of the funner decks to compete against, from my point of view. Sure, it had no negation whatsoever, but made up for it in simply refusing to stop summoning those Fiends. ^_^)
Also, I hereby declare the genesis of a new forum game: Deck Descriptions!
The idea is to take a decktype, then reduce it to an advertising slogan. I'll reuse a line I wrote above and give you another, to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
- Dark Worlds: Keepy-Uppy With Ungodly Demons — A Beginner's Guide.
- Holy Marks/Hieroglyphic Dragons/Whatever The Hell They're Called, Please Make Up Your Damn Mind, Internet: Egyptian Ink Westside Gang.

Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)To the place my Genex deck went, of course. BTW, if anyone's interested in a duel in DN, I'm online ATM.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.@Creative: The same place Trishula went, actually.
(I still have my old Chaos deck somewhere, actually. I think I played stuff like Sakuretsu, andd my favourite card was Alector. If you like, I could try and remember how it worked to play you with it sometime.)
Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)Actually, I think I found a Billy
, though I'm not sure he's the kind I'm looking for...
The video is NSFW, by the way. It includes someone firing a laser out of the face of a baby in his crotch used as censure for his dick.

On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.I only trust people so far, Inqui. We need a GM. Also, here's an idea for Cunning Stream's theme:

Sean and Johnny, mate. And I purposely chose to take a non-hammy character this time to stop me from going insane. Though, admittedly, it was hella fun to play the Jerkass sociopathic rich Large Ham.
Also, I can GM for you two, if you'd like.

"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValOkay, having a 60 card limit is making deck creation more difficult than it ought to be. Turns out, creating themed decks that use the archetype exclusively is not as much of a ludicrously stupid idea as I thought, considering that I can beat non-metagame-ready decks with a bit of luck and clever application of trap cards.
