What is the academy's stance on alchohol (also: the drinking age, not that it matters much to Dima)? Also, modifications to the uniform, and things like jewly? And would Dima have just a flipped standard Academy disk (which I'm assuming is the standard disk) or would he have to provide his own disk (which would probably just be a flipped KC Mass Production model with minimal modifications or a homemade piece of junk) or just suck it up and act right-handed when dueling?
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Re: the alcohol thing; I reckon the general opinion is that it's a bad thing to take too much of (i.e.: more than one standard drink). The problem is that that sort of stuff is starting to go into questions of morality, and since I'm the guy who invented this world it will by default have my morality. (So, I can't say too much on the reasons why because otherwise it'll turn into an Author Tract, which is no fun to read.) But, one or two drinks should be fine for everyone above the age of sixteen. I think.
The only bit of kit that is absolutely compulsory is the scarf; you can wear it however you want, just not hidden away. Everything is more like a list of recommended stuff, which the academy sells at lower prices compared to the average market price. (Read: changing the uniform is possible and not really against the rules, but it's generally cheaper and simpler to follow them.)
As for the Duel Disk thing, I always guessed the 'blades' and 'core' were detachable so you could put it on your other arm and flip over without too much trouble beyond unscrewing the thing and remembering which wire goes where, so that's how it'll go: Duel Disks are designed so that they're omnidextrous — every model can be used by either group of people. The design is... argh, let's just say the standard design used in GX, because i don't have the imagination to come up with anything better just now.

Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)@Re Dead & tachi: Creative said he'll be happy to do the GM, but because he's not feeling too hot right now, you might have to wait until tomorrow to get rolling. Is that okay for you (I won't start anything without giving you guys the chance to get a game in), or would you rather I started you off and handed it over to Creative once he's feeling better?
Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)I don't really mind. Although if it's not too much trouble for you, I suppose you starting us off would reduce the odds of the duel dragging on and holding people up. Although I guess one day wouldn't really be too much of a hold up...um...yeah, either's fine with me.
Burn up, hurricane of justice!Ergh. Well, this isn't supposed to be an overly long RP, really, so... I'll just start them off and you can pick up once you're up to it, okay, Creative?
Hey, no problem. I still need to make decks for the five named teachers, in case I ever need them. (I can help you with your deck, if you like.)

Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)Hrm... well, then, okay. I'm going to go back and edit Dima's appearance then (along with his deck, because screw ice counters and the cold theme. Vision Hero/Destiny ahoy!)
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Well, yes, but not over its face. Which is where its beak is, and therefore where it's quacks come from.

(◕ ヮ ◕)ノSo, I tried to try to make a working Charmer deck. In part so I could offer advice if Moe wants it and in part because I'm extremely bored and they look like they'd be fun to play.
...The deck I made is probably terrible. Although it has fairly easy access to synchro monsters (although for thematic reasons, the only synchros I put in were spellcasters), has a lot of cards that should help the Charmers survive being attacked, gets good draw power with Wonder Wand and can lock the opponent out of spell cards with Secret Village of the Spellcasters.
That said, I ran out of space for Blazing, Avalanching, etc. and monsters for them to summon, so...yeah. >.>
Burn up, hurricane of justice!...And now you see why this is taking so long. >.< As much as I like Charmers, building an entire deck out of them is... Rather impractical. Now I remember why I always just used each Charmer in their own elemental themed deck.
Hurm. I'll try and think of something I can do to work this, but... Thanks, though.
If all else fails I can always try and make a Lyna/Dharc themed Chaos deck, I guess. Or just grab one of my old spellcaster decks and see what I can do with those, ahah.

-Pokes the thread-
Le gasp. Hihi...
I AM SOMEONE'S MOMMY
Okay, now that that is out of the way, doods, I wish to apologize for my delays when it comes down to GM'ing. I sometimes get lost in scheming things for Negima/EXTRA (My fanfic project), so...
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariIt's fine. I think my posting delays were the bigger issue with the length of that duel. Of course, I'm not sure the length was an issue, since I've seen them go on for longer in other RPs.
Also, Inqui, was leaving Cunning out in that post intentional?
Burn up, hurricane of justice!

Here's the discussion thread! Signups are here
, and the roleplay will get started just as soon as we have enough people.
To start things off, I should explain the deal with the naming of the Streams: I had to call it something other than just Red, Yellow and Blue. The idea is that the student get told that (for example) they've been put into Brave Stream because they have courage, when they're actually fairly cowardly. But, because they're being told they are courageous, they might begin to think that themselves and become so like that.
...It's psychobabble, really, but it's well-meaning psychobabble.
