This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

Watch the World Die: The first quote is less bad than the second.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree with Septimus. Neither's particularly good, but the first one is somewhat better.
A genius, a philosopher, an abstract thinkerBook Burning has two quotes. My choice would be the first quote, as the classic quote on the topic.
Book Burning: I agree on the topmost quote.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, +1 on the top book burning quote staying, the other going onto the quotes tab.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpClassy Cat-Burglar has two quotes. Neither's really saying anything to me.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettCould someone please tell me the origin of this quote from the Spaceballs page:
"It's easy to spoof a bad movie. A good movie, now that's hard." — Mel Brooks
I already replaced it, because that quote sounds like something that could apply to any of Brooks' Affectionate Parodies.

Corrupt Corporate Executive has a very long quote. (So. Many. Words.) I suggest cutting it down to:
Elliot Carver: Mr. Wallace, call the President. Tell him if he doesn't sign the bill lowering the cable rates, we will release the video of him with the cheerleader in the Chicago motel room.
Mr. Wallace: Inspired, sir.
Elliot Carver: And after he signs the bill, release the tape anyway.

Corrupt Corporate Executive: I think that's a fairly untypical way to play that trope, but OK.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
Press Y to yank it. Doesn't say anything about the trope; it just complains about it.
Universal Driver's License has two quotes.
I'm liking this one from the quotes page better than either.
->"Fifth Law of Travel: All vehicles can be driven or piloted by anyone. The main character just needs to find out where the bridge or steering wheel is, as he already knows all of the controls."
—>— The Grand list of Console Role Playing Game Cliches
Willbyr brought up elsewhere that the Yandere quote might need looking at. I agree, but I'm not fond of song lyrics as quotes, so I'm biased. And ninety percent of the alternatives on the quotes page are also song lyrics, so I'm having trouble finding a good replacement.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.- Action Commands: Press A for agreeing with cut.
- Universal Driver's License: Agreeing with the swap proposal too.
- Yandere: I need a bit more arguments.
The current Yandere quote sounds like Stalker with a Crush. It ignores the "perfectly cute and harmless on the surface," part of how "the Yandere is sweet outside, crazy inside." Looking through the quote page I found just one that would work well.
->You'd actually be attractive if you didn't have crazy eyes. —>—Dilbert
Hot-Blooded: quote was changed from this: "->*draws sword* "Hey, hey hey hey hey hey! Listen up, ya walkin' faces! Having left his homeland, he never yields, never retreats, and never regrets! He faces forward, and never looks back! He's manly! He's tenacious! Kamina of Team Gurren is here to take you on! Let's go!!" —>— Kamina, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann"
to
"->"I have a duty to my people and I will not allow anyone to prevent me from carrying it out!!"'' —>— General Zod, Man of Steel"
The change was primarily because the changer put in a picture of Zod and the quote was acting as its caption. I think on its own the Gurren Lagann quote is a better example of Hot-Blooded.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Agree on the Hot-Blooded Revert. The Zod one isn't hot-blooded, it's simply determined, and page quotes aren't captions.
Agree on the revert, but don't the potholes have to be removed per no potholes in quotes
?

Watch the World Die has two quotes. Of the two, I think the first is the better one.
