This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

BSoD Song: Frankly, both quotes are bad.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBSoD Song: In that case, I'm thinking of just moving both to the quotes page. The basic problem with quotes for music tropes is that the tropes are as much, if not more so, about sounds as they are words. Which can't be shown in a quote.
The Detail-Hogging Cover only fits the trope in a passing way. The actual context is Covers Always Lie.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Indeed, the quote doesn't say anything about differing art quality between cover and actual animation frame. Purge it.
From Spiders Are Scary page, I think the quote in the Quotes page is more effective:
Nothing in the history of the entire world is more feared and hated than the spider. Nothing deserves it more, either.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.I dislike it because it's an opinion presented as a fact. I'm kind of allergic to those. Which is also incorrect.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm not sure if I agree with that. That quote is obviously meant to be a hyperbolic joke. Also, the comparison pertains the circumstances of a character; how are non-fans supposed to know if this character is scared of rain? The quote in itself doesn't say anything about that.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Meet the New Boss has a complainy critic quote. Any suggestions for a replacement?

I'm not sure if I agree with that. That quote obviously implies he hates both. Also, the summary pertains to the tone of the site; how are non-fans supposed to know it's meant to be a hyperbolic joke? The quotation in itself doesn't say anything about that.
That's the problem; the quote implies that he merely doesn't like rain. This is about spiders being considered really scary. Also, the strip in question is gone, so that won't do any good either.
Regarding the quote (courtesy of Cracked, by the way), whether it is presented as a truth or not is hardly relevant. Besides, anyone who frequents this page is likely to have a fair amount of experience dealing with internet jokes. It is certainly more likely that a regular internet user recognizes this kind of jokes than a non-Garfield fan know about how much the character in question hate (note that it still doesn't say anything about fearing) rain.

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. It's not really different than the "better love story than Twilight" joke you see popping up just about everywhere (especially on You Tube comments). Anyway, I just think it comes off as complaining.
Check out my fanfiction!Another vote for Miss Muffet.
Anyone have thoughts on a better quote for Meet the New Boss? If not, I'll just move the current one to the quotes page.
Before I finished reading I was going to suggest a couple of quotes -
I HATE spiders. Spiders are like little pieces of death wrapped in scary. Even if a spider was like "Love me? :c" I'd be all "NO!"
— "Spiders are scary. It's okay to be afraid of them." (Hyperbole And A Half)
Bring up the subject of spiders virtually anywhere, and a majority of reactions will be negative. Some people carry their aversion with humility or even embarrassment; they wish they weren't so terrified of something so frail and tiny, they know that spiders are a necessary part of the ecosystem and they might even find spiders fairly cool from a safe distance. On the other hand, you have the haters - the people whose fear fuels an engine of unrelenting resentment for all things Aranea. These are people who will argue to the death that their phobia is justified because everybody in their right mind knows that spiders are hell-spawned abominations, vile to the core, and deserve nothing more or less than complete and utter annihilation.
— "Arachnophobia" (Bogleech)
Miss Muffet is good too, though.
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NO

BSoD Song has two quotes. I'm leaning towards the second one, since the first is a little over the top.I'm torn on which one. If you know the musical, the first quote is great, but I suspect that it lacks something in print.
