This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

You don't need all the extra context in there. I don't like when quotes do that. I think you can just attribute it to "Revenge of the Sith's novelization".
So about the quote on Main.Half Baked Niceness: I originally sponsored this trope, and now I feel I might have found a potentially better quote (the trope is meant to be about characters being bad at complimenting). How is this?
Squidward: Uh... um... you look... stunning?
SpongeBob: Oh, you're so sweet!
Quotes.Friendship Tropes - Quotes for Index okay?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576
Yeah, I'm cool with that.
George Jetson Job Security's quote is unillustrative: how about this one from the quotes page?
Betty Brant: Chief, the planetarium party.
Jameson: Oh, right. You're unfired! I need you, c'mere!
Is it just me or is it weird how Abandon Shipping doesn't have a general page quote but it has a quotes page with only one quote in it. Shouldn't that quote just be moved to the main page? Here's the quote btw:
(Compartment opens on Dot's body, klaxon alarm blares, causing Vespa and Starr to break away nervously)
Barf: (jolting awake, running for cover) Abandon ship! Abandon ship! Women and Mogs first!
Too many stage directions, too little dialogue. IDK if it really needs a quote tho.
On that note, for Matron Chaperone:
Dot: That was my Virgin Alarm. It's programmed to go off before you do!

. It works with the archetype being described.
Because of a recent image change, the quote for Gosford Park is also on the image. I think it could be changed to an actual quote from the film. Would this work?
Constance: Me? I haven't a snobbish bone in my body.
I like it!
For Copiously Credited Creator, a potential replacement (if not, something for the quotes page):
by
Brian Kendall
Redemption Equals Sex and Sexual Karma both have the same page quote. I think it works better on the latter.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. The end quote on Superman is the lyrics to David Bowie's "Starman", which has nothing to do with Superman outside of it being a meme to use the song for edit videos
. I get the thematic use of it and how the lyrics happen to fit him, but I would rather use something from the actual comics or what not.
I think Superman's farewell quote can work? What do you think?

You sure about that issue for the Supes quote? This
says it's issue #66.
Speaking of comic quotes: Elseworlds is getting a complete monster page, and Ravok found two great quotes
that I can't decide between.

I'm not sure about the quote on Wicked Witch. Sure, Elphie talks about being "wicked" (and is indeed the Wicked Witch of the West) but the quote has more to do with Then Let Me Be Evil than "I'm an evil witch", especially since her magic isn't even mentioned.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall

So I’ll do the Jar Jar quote as that seems to be the winner (even if i personally prefered the Ben 10 quote). Though I have one more question which way do I format it?
