This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

Another vote for getting rid of the second quote on Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd..
Chainsaw Man's quote is kind of hard to parse out of context. Even in the story, the metaphor had to be explained directly. I think there's a much better earlier quote that summarizes it:
The only problem is that it's currently the quote on Awesome.Chainsaw Man, but it's hardly the end of the world if it doesn't have a quote.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.I am not really a fan of the current quote on Bruce Campbell. Not only is it not from the man himself, but it is awkwardly cut to the point that you wouldn't know that it is about him without knowing the context. I have a replacement suggestion from this interview

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadIs the Isn't It Ironic? page quote also Lyrical Dissonance?
Jack: Because I'm listening to the words.
How is this for Actor-Shared Background:
"The main character is a guy just like me. I wouldn't even have to act, just be myself."
- — Johnny Fontaine, The Godfather
This is currently on Restrained Revenge.
I'm not convinced that even qualifies as revenge: it's just a warning from a Bad Boss.
Suggesting this as a replacement.
The quote on Description in the Mirror is one of those snarky ones that clearly dislikes the trope. Does anyone have a better idea?
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Yeah the replacement quote for Restrained Revenge works better.
I feel like the current quote for Trapped in Another World is extremely generic, and neither the song itself nor Xanadu (1980) are examples of that plot. (this is it)
There's a far more fitting and recognisable one on the quotes page.
It's currently used in Scene of Wonder, unfortunately, but that's definitely a better option! should i swap it in?

I suggest replacing that page quote with the one in the Kill Six Billion Demons example, which also suggests that the character has never seen it before and does a better job of implying the visuals.
So there's currently a sandbox in progress for the Dragon Ball Fan Works Complete Monster characters, as seen here: Monster Dragon Ball Fan Works. We currently don't have a quote picked out for the page, and I would like to suggest this quote of mine:
For reference, this quote has received three people who are in favor of it that I know of. Also, the reason there isn't as writeup for this version of Zamasu is because I only just effort posted him (with unanimous approval of course) and proposed the quote at the same time. See here
for details.
I am fine with that quote as I said before, though I'll also post my own suggestion here as well:
The quote and image on Recoil Boost both come from the same source. Since the image was kept via thread, I think a new quote is in order. Any ideas?
The current quote on Mundane Object Amazement is:
which a) makes no reference to what the object in question is, and b) doesn't sound very amazed either. However, in the example list there's a quote from Dexter's Laboratory which I think captures the concept very succinctly:
- Dexter: Could this be the strange substance Mother calls "dust"?
Thoughts?

The quote on Last of His Kind was changed back in August without discussion by ~Minister Of Sinister, and I couldn’t find any discussion of it in this thread since then. It was changed from this:
To this:
