General Page Quote Discussion:

I'm still wondering what should be done about the duplicate quotes on Heel–Face Revolving Door and Wild Card.

Based on the descriptions, it might fit Wild Card better, since Heel–Face Revolving Door is for a character who switches between good and evil while Wild Card refers to a character who switches the sides they're on

This got brought up on the Complete Monster cleanup thread awhile ago but nothing came of it, so I'm bringing it up here. The page quote for RWBY Fan Works is ridiculously long, longer than every entry on the page in fact.

Personally, my vote goes towards the one that was originally on the page - it's a lot more succinct and to the point:

Relic of the Future one works for me.

Also I'm good with the Angry Beavers quote.

I think your suggestion for Flat Earth is good.

I think the page quote of Deceptively Simple Demonstration could use a replacement. Even disregarding the recent controversy surrounding the person the quote originates from, it just feels like we can find a better quote. I'd suggest something from that Oxiclean commercial or this video ("If you want to cut through a tennis ball for some reason, you can do that too.") mentioned further down.

I searched it, and the first result that wasn’t the National Weather Service was All the Tropes. It seems we just made it up.

Carbuncle Creature's quote doesn't say anything about what a carbuncle actually is. No quotes subpage to pull from either.

Found a pdf of the original translation of the Borges book. How about this?

Either works for me.

An example from Creepy Old-Fashioned Diving Suit in the Music section has a quote from a art book about the studio Hipgnosis that I think that describes the trope pretty well. The problem is that I didn't want to remove the quote from the example, as I wasn't the user who added it. What do you think?

I'd like to change the page quote for You Can Talk?. The current page quote is a simple (and also apparently "rewritten"?) exchange from an obscure fanfic, and I think almost anything from the lengthy Quotes page would be better.

The quote on VideoGame.Ski Free isn't really relevant to the game IMO. Keep, or remove?

I'd remove it. It mentions Ski-Free but that's not really enough.
