This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. The quote for My Skull Runneth Over is completely irrelevant. Is there anything better?
The quotes page might have something, but I don't know which one to pick.
—signature not found—I like the Onion's.
Flash Step got its quote changed recently with no announcement. Is it more indicative than the last, or at all worth bringing up?
Just wondering...
In the interest of clear navigation for new(ish) tropers, is it worth adding something like this to the end of the pinned post?
I think that's a good idea
It got reverted back.
Previous:
Current:
I am not a huge fan if either of them tbh. I find the previous more clear though.
The Onion quote for My Skull Runneth Over looks good.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.A triple-up of a quote for Harbinger of Impending Doom (Quotes.Harbinger Of Impending Doom), Come and See, and Pale Rider:
I'm leaning towards keeping it for Come and See because it's the quote the title refers to.

Vehicle-Based Characterization | Grief-Induced Split | Locker Maili'm kinda thinking it should be on Harbinger of Impending Doom, as the other two are works and it doesn't seem right to me to have quotes that aren't from the work as pagetoppers, but that's just me. i'm not really opposed to having it on any of the three
bumping the question of the "tears in rain" quote being duplicated on The World Is Just Awesome and Tannhäuser Gate — i'd like for it to be removed from tannhauser gate as i feel like it's redundant.
also, No Budget's quote feels more like a Hand Wave to me. i'm not sure if it's fitting. any input?
Announcer: Budget cuts.
This is the page quote on Betrayal Insurance
Superman: There's always that kryptonite you carry around.
The first thing I noticed is there's a pothole, which is a no-no. Then I noticed the quote was wrong. He actually says "what that Superman did". But with the correct quote and no pothole, it might be confusing to someone who's never seen the episode. Perhaps more of the quote could be included?
Superman: There's always that kryptonite you carry around.
Does that work?
I like it
Yeah, that works
x4 Regarding No Budget, there's this quote from the quotes page?
No craft service, man! (NO BUDGET!)
We don't take no "notes"! (NO BUDGET!)
No fucking call sheets, yo! (NO BUDGET!)
We ain't recouping shit! (NO BUDGET!)
Yeah, we got a starting day for real! (NO BUDGET!)
Yo, this picture's a go! (NO BUDGET!)
Yeah, we gonna turn Hollywood out! (NO BUDGET!)"
Been hammering away at documenting quote sources, wading into non-trope pages currently. I won't bog down chat with another top totals updates just yet but this is really boosting some of the pop-culture-referential works. Remains to be seen where the figures settle. Here's the page quote for Really Dead Montage. I don't know how it reflects the trope at all.
A few times
Memories like nursery rhymes..."
Pull as unillustrative.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. With a Foot on the Bus: Page quote is a spoiler for Friends (and also not an example — the trope is about someone staying in a show when it looked like they might leave, but this was the final episode; there was no more show).
Reposting one more time.

I'm here because I thought applying tropes to Tumblr posts was a good idea.Your suggestion isn't perfect, but it's miles better than the current.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. At least this one alludes to the trope and isn’t off topic like the current

Need a second opinion on adding this quote to Nemesis Weapon:
I wanted to add this quote to Dressing Down:
I've traded in flawless make-up for freshness.
I traded in styling my hair for 30 more minutes of sleep.
Does it work? It cuts out a lot of the text between. The episode is here if anyone wants to quote it differently.
How is this for the Technophobia page?
Lol, go for it.
Ginger Rogers has two quotes, which do you prefer?
Same for Ernst Lubitsch:

Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
I think I suggested a trimmed version before:
Therapist: Excellent! You've made a real breakthrough!
Z: I have?
Therapist: Yes, Z! You are insignificant.
Z: I am?
