This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

Card Games and Collectible Card Game have the same quote. In context I think it works better for the latter, and I'd suggest this replacement for the former:

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.The quote on Bat Scare isn't what the trope is about.
Bruce Wayne: Bats frighten me. It's time my enemies shared my dread.
It reads like someone websearched "bat scare quote" and picked the first thing that came up without reading it.
... which is to say yeah we're voting delete that.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Does the page quote for Pooping Where You Shouldn't have to be in all caps?
"Your father was an average fighter, Kal-El, but he was a brilliant scientist!"SD Gundam Force and Super-Deformed have the same quote?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Wild Card's quote doesn't seem to illustrate.
Some possible replacements from Quotes.Wild Card:
Cpn. Renault: I have no conviction, if that's what you mean. I blow with the wind — and the prevailing wind happens to be from Vichy.
Strasser: And if it should change?
Will: At the moment?
I also like this one I just added, but I feel like I'm too biased to be a good judge of it:

On Enjoy the Story, Skip the Game, someone a few days ago changed the quote from
I prefer the original quote since it more explicitly criticizes the gameplay (while the new one is more vague; what about it makes it "nobody particularly likes") and the new one seems to fall more under They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot (and comes off as a bit complainy). Thoughts?
The quote for Slain in Their Sleep is about the same event depicted by the page image (Jael's murder of Sisera in The Bible). Anyone have ideas for a replacement?

I can think of the Death of Ish-Bosheth, also from The Bible. Don't know if that counts as the same "source" as the page image given that it's a completely different story.
- "Ish-Bosheth was lying on his bed in his bedroom. Then Recab and Baanah stabbed him in the stomach, killed him, cut off his head, and took it with them." — 2 Samuel 4:7

x4 Yeah, the old quote for Enjoy the Story, Skip the Game is more illustrative. You can change it back.
The quote page for https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Anime/CreamyMamiTheMagicAngel
has the last part of the theme song first in unromanized Japanese and then in English. I dont think this is kosher.
x7 (Wild Card): I also vote for the Pirates of the Caribbean quote

re Slain in Their Sleep, it's not required for a page's quote and image to come from different sources, but it's preferred.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Can a work's page have a link (not a pothole) to a trope that's mentioned in name? Like a character talks about greed or pride, can we link to the part where they mention these words?
