This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

I'm mixed. On the one hand, it gets the point across, but on the other, I'm not fond of quotes that require scene descriptors.
Pointy Ears's quote has no source, and searching it only loops back to that Tv Tropes page, indicating it didn't come from any work in specific. Should it be removed?
oh hey how are you doing?
(x5) I agree the current and the one before the current do not illustrate Wacky Parent, Serious Child. I feel that Castle quote does, though.

I believe it can be deleted then, though I could be wrong.
It doesn't make sense to me either, so it should be removed imo.
It should be noted that Wrong Wire is currently on the TRS Queue and will almost certainly be merged with Wire Dilemma (which does have a fitting quote) once its turn comes up.
I'm personally against it. A quote should stand on its own with just the words used. Plus, I think using a note markup on a quote looks really ugly.
Let's Get Dangerous! has the same image source and quote source. i think this one from the Quotes page would be the best replacement:
Bartz: This is the first time... I'm serious! Now, showtime!
The quote on Shockwave Stomp doesn't discuss the trope in any way whatsoever. Delete?
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.![]()
That's terrible. Pull it.
Flaming Meteor has a totally non-illustrative quote. It relies on scene directions in the quote attribution for context, and it doesn't even illustrate anything then. The trope is for when meteors are depicted as being on fire in media even though in real life they're usually non-flammable, which the quote has nothing to do with.

regulation pigeonThe quote for Mayfly–December Friendship is as follows:
I don't think this is necessarily bad, but I believe that the quote below may be a more explicit reference to the trope.
Should we change the quote for this trope to the second one or leave it as is?
The current is better. It's shorter and says pretty much the same thing. That's good for the Quotes page though.
The above page quote of Reminder of Impossibility doesn't have any indication that Stinkbomb is climbing a tree or that he falls off it in realisation that he can't. Out of context it doesn't present the trope at all unlike its video example equivalent.
Not once did I think I'd be into the things I am in fact, into. Don't you think the same, likewise, or otherwise? The page quote for Money Slap isn't an example of the trope. The trope requires the money be thrown at someone's face, but Judas just throws it into the temple, which is decidedly not a face.
Watched It for the Representation has a quotes page but no page quote. Which one of these would work:

The quote on Wacky Parent, Serious Child isn't really clear that the characters talking are parent and child. It was also unilaterally changed last October from this:
To the current:
Vanessa Doofenshmirtz: How did my life get to the point where that is no longer a strange sentence to me?
Which admittedly is better than the old one but still not good enough.
I think any of the three in the Quotes subpage are better replacements, though the third one is the clearest (and funniest):
Castle: [with his mouth full of whipped cream] This is my dinner.
Alexis: No.
