This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

The quote on Good with Numbers is unclear. Maybe change to this:
The quote on Smells Sexy is as follows:
I don't think it demonstrates the trope at all and is completely ZCE about why any sniffing is taking place.
There's no quotes page, and I've gone through both the examples on the page and spot checked some of the wicks, but I can't find a decent example to replace it. Can we just pull it until a better example is found (unless anyone can think of a good replacement, of course)?
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. It's more like Perverted Sniffing if anything.

Some quotes from Brisingr:
Again she succumbed to the wanton attraction of Blödhgarm's odor, imagining what it would feel like to run her hands through his mane.
One-Steve Limit is No Straight Examples, Please!, but I don't think that should mean that the page quote should be about the aversion. Especially since we have Significant Name Overlap and other tropes for characters sharing names. In fact, most of the quotes in the subpage are aversions of the trope, which should probably be moved. Here's a few quotes that at least lampshades the actual One-Steve Limit and not describe its aversion:
Bart: Maybe it was one of the other Barts, sir—
Principal Skinner: THERE ARE NO OTHER BARTS!!!

Memes.Metal Gear: the quote has a labelnote saying that's his actual dialogue and it had a "Not Making This Up" Disclaimer pothole added to it in February. obviously that needs to go (fucking what does it take to get these people to stop doing shit like this??) but the whole labelnote seems unnecessary to me. should the whole thing be cut or just the dumbass pothole?
I think that can actually be replaced with a Sincerity Mode pothole since "Not Making This Up" Disclaimer is misused. However, I feel it might be for the best to flat-out cut that label note.
x4- One-Steve Limit: I vote for the first quote, as it more explicitly captures the quote.

We shouldn't be using Sincerity Mode potholes in that way on the wiki either. We can generally delete any "promise we're not making this up" interjections anywhere on the wiki.
Just noticed the current page quote for Conditioned to Accept Horror
I get that this makes sense in context, but on its own it doesn't really mean anything
I'd say the first or second one would be best. The third one does mention his scent and that a lot of women are attracted to him, but doesn't quite link the two together. The other two quotes do.
The first one has the virtue of being more compact than the second.... but I hesitate to favour it because it uses "and" so much.
Re One-Steve Limit: I personally prefer the second myself (I think it helps that the name used is not actually "Steve"), but any more input before I change it?
Re Conditioned to Accept Horror has a few good clearer alternatives:
——ly surprised. Locals barely care.
——ness as usual."

I actually feel the third is the best, though I feel the second works too. If you do choose the final one, however, you'll need to remove the Big Brother Bully pothole.
I agree that the third one is the best of those three, but im not completely sold on it.
What about this one?
He takes another swallow of water from his bottle, following my gaze. Then he makes a sad face. "Souls," he answers quietly. "Human souls. They… uh, came spraying out of Rei's neck during Instrumentality."
I nod silently. It seems like this should shock or horrify me, but now that just kind of seems… par for the course.

The quote on Metatron is quite specific to the universe of His Dark Materials. I'd suggest this replacement:
