This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

Agreed
The Quisling's quote seems to be describing its supertrope, Les Collaborateurs:
Ideally, a quote for The Quisling should demonstrate that he's specifically a collaborator with public clout. Perhaps replace with this from Quotes. The Quisling?
The Breaking Bad one definitely works better. My vote would have been for the Literature one on the quote page.
Anyway,
yeah that looks better. The Half Life 2 quote is partially used in the quote for Vichy Earth anyway, so I see no problem removing it.
Also, is this good for the currently quoteless Green Around the Gills?
I noticed Evil Redhead lacks a quote, may I add this?
It's taken from the Italian novel Rosso Malpelo (which is actually a deconstruction of the trope and the prejudices towards redheaded people at the time)
Not sure if we can add quote translated from other languages

There isn't an impossible dream, there are only people who give upI think the quote on Flat Joy isn't very illustrative, since it doesn't show the "flat" part. It doesn't have the quotes subpage, but I looked through the examples, and I feel like this one might fit better, since it also shows why the joy is flat.
Chiyo & Kaorin: [unenthusiastic] Yay...

Tentative agreement with your quote suggestion, I think one problem I think that it's hard to get quotes for a trope that involves voice/audio. Still looks better than the current.
Last call for my Thriller on the Express suggestion, If no one enters carriage one and murders me with facts and logic I'm adding it in. EDIT: I've added it. Choo choo!

Think you'll find I already included the game's page in the quote.

The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?
x3 I like the quote suggestion for Evil Redhead. I don't think it being a translation is an issue. In terms of written style, the speaker should be bolded (though since it's narration, you can exclude a speaker altogether), and the work title should be italicized.
Apparently, the page quote to Informed Ability is from a source that's no longer accessible.
Something Awful locks old threads behind a paywall after a certain timeframe, so you can't read the thread without paying for it. Should it be replaced with something else?
Broken Heel: Not very heel-y?
Actually, the trope isn't limited to heels. It says: "Any minor obstacle which causes a fleeing victim to fall or become slowed to allow a pursuer a better chance to catch up"
So I think this quote from the quote page will work
Putting aside the whole "hard N in a page quote" debacle, does the quote for Racist Grandma really show the "old lady" element clearly enough?
![]()
But only in the attribution. The actual content of the quote has nothing to do with the lady being old. Wouldn't something talking about a racist old person or someone discussing their age while being racist work better? There's several other options like that on Quotes.Racist Grandma.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I prefer the new quote, but only if it's not a major spoiler.note
